I thought about this.. but then will they not have 2 lots of bookings for the same name when u check in..a nd ask whats goin on LoL

I was thinking of doing it to go somewhere else instead, as I can't find any really cheap accommodation in Dublin for my family. So, they won't see my name on the passengers list twice, as I won't be booking the same flights.

flight for 1p is the dream though, n we get to live it wohoo
  • I flew with Ryanair last year so if anyone asks I made a genuine mistake and entered previous code. If their programmers can't secure the web site they shouldn't blame the customer. I wonder if the web site is offshore.

Anyone found any cheap hotels or places to stay in Dublin? Need someone for the three of us, including son.

I had the same problem and have now got ibis dublin west through accor site which is £38.25 for the room and seems to allow a child under 12 as well.
if you go through quidco you can get another £1 off and look at trip advisor says cheap and cheerful.

  • Well I've booked to go to shannon from east midlands next weekend with a friend for the grand total of £2.84! It gives me a chance to go and visit my family, something I don't get to do very often, so a VERY big thank you to the OP. I will certainly raise a glass or two in their honour while I'm there!!

    Try this accommodation for Dublin.

    Clontarf Castle

Its a bit out of the centre (20 min bus ride) but a really nice castle and although £65 a night the price is per a room not person and includes breakfast.

I stayed there last year and its really nice and as accommodation is so expensive there it was a really good price.

The 20 min bus ride is not really an issue as we were not intending to spend our stay in the hotel.

This hotel looks really great. Did the hotel overlook the marina, if so do you know whether any bedrooms overlooked the marina.

We are not hiring a car so will be dependant on local transport, was travelling to the centre easy.

Were there any good restaurants around the area.

Sorry to ask so many questions, but I would love to stay by the arena or sea, better still in a hotel of this quality!!

    Thanks for the idea.
ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷
