We are not hiring a car so will be dependant on local transport, was travelling to the centre easy.
Were there any good restaurants around the area.
Sorry to ask so many questions, but I would love to stay by the arena or sea, better still in a hotel of this quality!!
Thanks for the idea.
Its not near the marina, its in a very residential area so again not many restaurants (but I did not look).
The transport is really easy and you can buy a travel card to cover all your journeys (very cheep and covers but to and from airport).
If your the type who likes to keep going back to the hotel then it may not suit you..0 -

You might be able to book a double or twin room with the YHA in Dublin. its clean, nothing fancy, but you would have a room to yourselves...besides i'm sure you will be spending most of your time checking out the sites of dublin! you can also cook your own food there as they have a kitchen. I'm sticking to an 8 bed dorm as its only £9 per night for me, and i like meeting people.0 -
Do u know how central this is?
Looked good.. I have emailed them to check if they have smaller rooms.. but TBH im up for some good old fashioned hostellingbe an experience and means we can stay 2 nites rather then one

Ive just booked up a trip for me and 3 mates to dublin in a fortnight, for a rather bargin price of £5.68, and at £1.42 each that cheaper than my 4 mile bus journey to work every morning, thanks, ken livingstone!
Thanks to whoever found out this loophole!
Decided not to book any accomodation yet till i get some feedback from those brave enough to give it a go tomorrow! Might still just wait till we get there to find a place to sleep.
