lostinrates is it a great dane? Our lab weighs only 21kg and she seems enormous.
Its amazing to me our greyhound should be so much heavier than a lab....the grey is 37ish kg. And not a bit overweight, in fact, slightly under, though she IS very tall.
No big dog is not a great dane, but a similar sized giant and infact, rather small for a giant, but she IS a bit on the heavy side. She's naturally ''stocky'' though, rather than overweight.0 -
We do love our sleep in this house. During the week we both work long hours and are up by 6 each morning. So at weekends we lie in till 10 or 11, bliss.
Will be all change come January when our twin girls arrive. Reckon we will be waving bye bye to lie ins for a bit. Still it wont be to bad will it, apparently kids sleep through the night from 8 weeks (joke!)
Am not quite that naive, though my sil and brother in law were. Came as a major shock to them when their little ds was still screaming the house down at night when he was well past a year old.0 -
Well weekdays and saturdays (because my kids go dancing) i get up bout 7.00 so the only day I can have a lie in is a Sunday, can sometimes manage upto about 9.30 then I feel like I have to get up. Dh gets up with the kids every Sunday but because its the only day we get to eat brekkie together it forces me up otherwise it would be about 11. Before kids I could litterally sleep til the afternoon.March 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000

If I haven't got anything to do I won't get up until about 11. To be honest this is yet another reason I don't want children, 7am mornings on a weekend sound rubbish!0

You have to have 2 royal P.I.T.A's before you get a golden child who sleeps 6 hour stretches from birth and 12 hours through the night from 6 weeks.
#2 nearly got posted out the window at 6 weeks due to him waking every 1.5 hours for another feed.Little Person Number 4 Due March 2012

my second almost got launched through the window on several occasions.. she was the one who made me feel pity for those parent who snap and kill their babies in absolute desperation.. She started screaming at 10 hours old and didnt stop until she was 3.5 years!!!! She didnt sleep, she was always ill and she was so clingy she was 6 months old before her dad held her.. she just wanted me and I just wanted her to go away for 5 minutes.
My first was angelic.. lulled into a false sense of security I was!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
