Take mine-not too heavy (underweight lurcher) and very bony currently, so will stick hips and elbows into your hubby very nicely (he's been very ill-not starved ;) ) He will also be very excited at the prospect of going into a bedroom and on the bed as he's not allowed at home ;)

:rotfl::rotfl:I am getting ideas here, he has now got a 11am cut off because that is plenty

Son and I up, OH still having his lie in and so he should not begrudging him he works very hard all week but have been up seems like ages waiting to get the day started:D what time do you get up on a weekend?

    Anything after 7 am is a lie-in.

Why are you waiting for your partner to wake up to start the day? Can't you and the little one go out/ do something together until your partner is ready? It's only 2 short days - do not waste a single minute of it! ;):D

Anything past 6am is a bonus, although I'm an 8 hour a night person, so go to bed at 10.30pm and get up at 6.30am to feed DS.

I do make OH get out of bed to fetch DS for me either Saturday or Sunday morning thought.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

my OH works evening/night hours, always has done, so he's rarely up on his days off before 11am - it could be noon if he's having a lie-in. We don't keep quiet around him though, that would be mean on my DD. But we do go out, go to dance class, go shopping, out in the garden etc without him. If he's up and about, he can come if he wants, if not, thats fine too.

  • I tend to get around 3-5 hours sleep before my DH wakes me up with his snoring, then I can't get back to sleep again, so I'm usually up 5-6am. This morning, the sound of cats wailing and caterwauling outside woke me up at 5.45, My DH wasn't in bed but I could hear snoring coming from downstairs, so knew he must have fallen asleep whilst watching TV. "Great, I'm going to get a nice lie in" I thought.:) Just as I was drifting back to sleep, I heard voices and car doors banging so looked out of the window to see my new neighbour seeing her OH off to work. At that point, I knew I wouldn't get back to sleep so went downstairs and my husband went up to bed. He and our 3 sons are still not up yet!:( I'm planning on going for a nice long nap while my DH is at the football match this afternoon and woe betide any of my sons if they dare to make a sound.:rotfl:
  • I get up at 6.30 during the week so a lie-in til 9am on the weekend is bliss. I agree though, waiting for someone to get up for ages so that you can get going on your weekend plans is very annoying! Fortunately, O/H doesn't sleep much after 7am so is always up and dressed well before me.
