Waiting aswell, but it's not a bad wait knowing you're going to get the money. Overall, massively delighted with the outcome of the claim.

took 5 working days in total!

    All paid and sorted!
  • I sent my Acceptance on the 16th (friday), so they should have either recieved it on the saturday and processed on the monday or receieved/processed on the monday.

    I think i'm on working day 8.

There is no re-structuring of my loan. The PPI repayment would pay off the remainder, settle the loan account and put the rest of the cash in my account (HSBC).
if nothing has happened by working day 10, who should I call?

I'm on the same timescale as you although the difference between us is that I paid off the loan some years ago.

Earlier in this thread it's said that it may take longer for the payout due to the red tape on paying off an existing loan. Red tape etc !

Their are also e mail address in the earlier threads you can use along with several tel numbers.

    Hi,

    Thank you.

I fired off an e mail to the chief exec office just to ask for an update as my 10 working days were drawing near. That was yesterday.

Today at around 3pm the funds cleared into my bank account.

At around 5pm i received a follow up reply e mail from the exec offices advising the funds had been placed into my hsbc bank account.
  • It seems that going to the top is the way forward; several of us seem to have received our payments after emailing the Chief Exec. You shouldn't have to do that but it seems that 'shouting' works!

To be fair i didn't really do any shouting but just enquired that due to the 10 working days was coming close, being the 30th of Sep 11, i thought it prudent to highlight my case via a quick e mail.

My acceptance letter actually stated that i would be paid by upto 10 working days upon receipt to their offices. Ive noticed lots of people did not have this information on their acceptance letter.

Was it coincidence that the day after I e mailed them, I get paid and then receive an e mail a couple of hours later stating the payment had been paid, and hoped that resolved my raised e mail with the exec office.

When I last spoke to the ppi offices he intimated that because i was having my redress made into a hsbc account the payment would be upto 10 working days or quicker.

Also my payment was not being part used to settle an existing loan etc as it had been paid off years ago. This is thought to cause a further delay of payments due to the inclusion of different departments.
  • How accurate are the redress calculations?
