Just to update you, sticking with the Monsoon dress after OH made a comment about liking simple dresses without fuss or bling :rotfl:

I'll just glam up the hair & jewellery, I'm in love with this haircomb from Glitzy Secrets, these earrings & this necklace (both from Julieann Beads) so may treat myself at payday...

I couldn't help notice your FLOWERS budget! £300.00 is high if you ask me. I wish I could post links as I've seen an absolutely STUNNING vintage bouquet with matching buttonholes, bridemsaids bouquets and corsages and they're well under budget. They're made from ivory roses with white ostrich feathers and vintage lace and pearl trims. You'd love them but I can't post links!

If you want to find then, just Google "LINK REMOVED SO AS NOT TO ADVERTISE THESE NUMPTIES". They're be at the top of the search it's the ,co,uk one. When you get to their webiste do a search for the word "vintage". You'll thank me!

I don't think anyone asked you. Now please stop spamming our board.

    Hi Wanchai
Who did you end up getting as a photographer? That price looks really good.

    So, massive update:

I ORDERED MY DRESS! Last Saturday, 7th January. Woo hooooooooo!!! I am totally in love with it - it's so flattering and beautiful. It's definitely more 'bridal' than I expected I would go for, but it's utterly classic and will hopefully never date. My style inspirations are Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, and it's very like their style. I am so glad that I persevered and kept looking when I couldn't find my dream dress anywhere.

I have also (almost) decided on my BM's dress - this one: http://www.dessy.com/dresses/bridesmaid/6613/ in suede rose. It's beautiful, not too 'bridesmaidy' and so gorgeous on my BM! I've also ordered her some fab shoes for only £15! http://www.kurtgeiger.com/women/january-9.html :D

My mum has also bought her outfit, which I am seeing this weekend when I visit her. Yay! We are getting well sorted!

Beautiful BM dress! And a very easy style to wear again - you have a very lucky bridesmaid :D

How, in the name of all that is sane, did you manage to get Kurt Geiger shoes for 15 quid???? :T:money:

    EDIT:

    Also, remember this post?

She is rather lucky! I really want her to be happy with the dress, and she loves it. :D

The shoes were £49 in the sale + £4 postage, I used the £20 welcome code and my £20 gift card from November's Elle mag.:beer:

Oh, yes please to the name of the photographer.

Absolutely loving that dress, especially the colours they have. If I have a bridesmaid I'd like her to be in fuchsia and they have so many fantastic dresses on that website.

Your planning is coming along nicely.
