If you love sparklers then have them. It is your day! This week I have taken delivery of huge balloons and some sky lanterns. For the kids, obviously . . . M x

When were you thinking of having the sparklers Wanchai? The only reason I ask, is that I went to a wedding recently where the Bride & Groom had all of the guests wave sparklers around as they entered for the wedding breakfast. It looked fab but at the same time the room was very quiet as nobody had free hands to applaud them as they entered.

You could supply tap shoes so they can stamp their feet at the same time! Megan

It's not your mum's wedding! It's yours honey xx

Are you planning on sparklers for everyone, or just you two?

Also - will your mum still be up and partying when you do the sparklers? In July, it will be late before it's dark enough to get the effect, and my mum disappeared off to bed about 10.30pm lol

    ;)
