I love the sleeves on that dress. I love lacy delicate things like that. Is the flower removable? I think it distracts a bit from tthe delicate little sleeves.
As an aside I also live the circlet the girl has on her head. I really really want one but you seem to only be able to find them online and I am worried about buying one and then not liking it when it arrives!Trying to be good and watch the pennies, but guilty of falling off the wagon every so often!

I agree, the flower does detract a little.
Re the headpiece, why not buy from a site that offers free returns? xx
DRESS UPDATE
OK everyone, I am down to TWO dresses:
Dress #1 - Pronovias Daven:
http://www.peoniesandpolaroids.com/2008/06/revelations.html
http://www.tolain.com/jpn/gowns/pronovias/pronovias08DAVEN.html
Dress #2 - from a blog (would have to get it made):

I have the option of getting the 2nd one tweaked a little if I want, perhaps a bateau neckline instead of the little dip at the front.

Love them both. I think the second with a different neckline would be stunning... and individual.

It's up to you - I suspect people will vote for the one they can clearly see though. Have you met your dress maker?

I'm meeting the dressmaker tonight Megan, cannot wait!
The poll is up and running, I am very interested in reading the comments, making me think that Dress 1 is perhaps too 'tall' for me, or I am too short for it!Ho hum!
Also bought my BM the most gorgeous thank you card on eBay, am thinking of sticking a pic of her face on the front lol: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bridesmaid...item27ba2fe726
plus this: http://willowtree.info/product/thank-you
I'll probably get her jewellery for the wedding day as a thank you gift as well.
No idea what to get the best man - maybe an engraved hip flask, or can you think of anything else???
I have decided on my invitations (I think) .I would like some vintage looking (possibly brown) card, not folded or anything, just one each for the invite, RSVP, directions etc and all tied together with twine - something like this:7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Ooh, I love those invites! STILL haven't stupiding well started on mine yet, and I was hoping to get the design sorted to make them all over Christmas...
I have cast my vote on your poll; I reckon that you should get the dressmaker to incorporate parts of both to make it unique. Good dressmakers won't simply do knock-offs of an existing design anyway, so she's bound to suggest different things that might suit your shape and style.
Bet you're excited about meeting her tonight!Marrying my lovely man on 1st September 2012

I am super excited!!!! *does a little twirl*
Thanks for the comments.I'm sure that I will probably tweak the design a little if I'm getting a dress made. I just hope that it turns out ok - it's a lot of trust to put in one person!
The invites are fab, aren't they?I totally love the style of them.
Don't worry about not having started your invites - you have aaaages yet! xxx7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Like the BM card - think it would be great to stick her face on (Mabe a bit abstract-cartoonstyle too big?!) A hip flask sounds nice for the BM, just remember to put something nice in there!
We have peacock feathers too - we are using them on the tables, tucked into black napkins. I love the ideas for invites. I cheated and did them on vistaprint - but I was very pleased when they came. We did them postcard style too, so no folding involved.
I'm excited for ou, meeting the dress maker. I am sure you will get your answer to your dress dilemma tonight!
