It's been in my diary for weeks!!!!
We got engaged in July and my first thought was 'damn, I missed the vintage wedding fair last month (Malone House)'!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Have you had any more thoughts re venue? It is so exciting! Do think about what style of wedding you want when you go to see them, it will help you decide.
Thanks for your kind words btw.
One of the first things i did after we got engaged was look up when the next wedding fayre was - so i'll see you there on the 4th December!
I want a very traditional style wedding I think.
Going to look at the 3 (Hotel) venues on Saturday/Sunday - I can't wait, wish it was tomorrow!
Also - in relation to the church/hotel availabilty, which should you sort out first?Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -

Or I'm sure you could get someone to make similar for less?

I saw the £2,500 one on eBay (Chinese seller) for about £200, erm, no way! You couldn't even buy the lace for that, it's probably made from doilies :rotfl:
I'd like to get this dress made if I could, it looks FAB:

Traditional style will go well with most venues, you will know when you find the perfect one.
The church usually has better availability than the reception venues, so choose the one you love first, then check the church's availability for those dates. Our venue had VERY limited availability next summer, thankfully the church was free on those dates too!
See you on the 4th! I'm going to the fair with my BM, cannae wait! :T7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

I also love this one, think it is my joint fave (with the last one above):
I LOVE that dress. Actually having a little bit of dress envy at the moment, which is not a common occurrence for me!
Great to hear how your plans are coming along - really feel I should be getting a move on, I've done almost nothing for weeks!!

Awwwwthanks White_Sapphire! I do love it and it is soooo much cheaper than the other one, I think that the price will swing it in the end.
Although if I were being REALLY MSE, I would wear the Monsoon one from eBay that cost me £80!!! :rotfl:
What's your dress btw?
I bet you're more organised than me, and my wedding's 6 weeks earlier!7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs
