Yodel - shockingly bad - email address anyone?

I posted a parcel via Parcel2go. The parcel was collected by Yodel on the 5th Dec to be taken to Manchester from Essex. Still not there and although its tracking on and off the Romford van on a daily basis (250 miles from Manchester) its not making any headway. It has actually been to Rochdale depot which was correct on the 14th but not put on a van there- instead sent back to Romford.
Nobody at either Yodel or Parcel2go will help- i have spent loads on money on phone calls and spoken to live help dozens of times but still nothing has been done and all i get are false promises

I too was unfortunate enough to be on the receivng end of Yodels poor service. A next day delivery from Boots took over a week to arrive. I have to say the service at Boots was great.. they were equally appaled at the mounting pile of missed deliveries and excuses. They initally offered to refund the delivery charge.. then 20% .. suffice to say when the parcel eventually arrived Boots agreed to let me have the £180 order FOC.
Based on what I've seen here I would be suprised if Boots continued using them.0 -

I ordered items from 2 different companys, 1 being GAP and the other being Early Learning Centre. These was both ordered on the same day being the 9th December 2011 and neither on express delivery.

Same thing happened - got a text message on the 20th December saying it would be delivered by 9pm that day and nothing arrived so at 20.59 i called ELC and was advised that they would chase it up, half and hour went by and I am not a patient person i will admit to you now I called back to be told that they would not be able to get the copy of the signature till tomorrow i was not happy and asked for the delivery company name and consignment number - Low and Behold guess who it was YODEL!!!!
ELC took another delivery address off me and said that they would get replacements sent out and YODEL will get a shock if they try the same thing at this address as CCTV is outside and inside the property!!
Anyway as YODEL website does not have a email address for complaints and you cant speak to a manager (believe I have tried) but i had been provided with an email address from a customer service person at YODEL for their tracking department so i could APPARENTLY get a copy of the signature for the GAP delivery of which they would not provide as i was not the sender i sent an email address to 2 different address that might be right for their customer service department which says the following:-

So lets see if i get an answer to this, if i dont as i previously worked for a courier company whom are alot better than YODEL and still have contacts there I will find the address one way or another and go to the depot! Dont know what it will achieve but will make me feel better!!!
People People People before you order anything off the internet please phone the company and ask what delivery company they use if it is YODEL dont order the item as you probably will not receive it.
I must also add that I have written to Watchdog and emailed every email address I have found on this thread.
If only your email to the company was as civil as your forum post the maybe you would have had got somewhere?
Perhaps it is a regional/depot specific thing that service is bad - because you seem to get the occasional person in this thread (me included) that think the service is alright and have had no problems.0 -

Well my email was polite, civil and to the point and that didn't get a reply at all so I hardly think it matters with this company.
Still no parcel even though according to them someone here signed for it and as such Boots would like their money for goods received. Shame I never got the goods so I wonder where they went ? Could it be that some driver is keeping the parcels and signing for them as delivered..shock horror, no one would do that would they ?There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;

Absolutely ridiculous. I'll tell you now, as someone who works in customer service, that an email like that, peppered with obscenities, bad spelling and all in caps, would get deleted straight away. It's not the fault of the person at the other end of that email, working in customer services, and you shouting and bawling will get you nowhere. I have an order stuck at my local depot, all the tracking states is "Scanned as part of secure process" whatever that means. It has been updated 3 times today without times, all showing this message. No reply from yodel at all. Contacted PC World and they tried to get through too. PCW just called saying they can't get any help from any department at Yodel either. They have refunded my next day carriage but that's all so far. What on earth do we do when they don't reply to emails, or answer the phone calls??
Not a happy customer, and will definitely avoid companies that use them as a delivery company.0 -

Usual excellent service from Boots, perhaps too generous. But whenever I've needed to contact them about any problems, they've bent over backwards to put things right. They take customer service very seriously, a quality company.0 -
Ive been waiting for 3 parcels from 3 different companies which were delivered to different address with different people signing for them, Ringing and emailing YODEL doesn't really help, You need to ring the companies you bought from and they investigate to get the items back and send you replacements in the mean time.
I had one re-delivered today through YODEL and I asked the driver how he can find my address and royal mail can but the drivers last week couldn't and his reply was that they were probably agency drivers and dont give a **** where they deliver as they get paid per day and permanent drivers get paid per delivery they do.
My advice is to ring/email the companies you buy from and with me they had no problems sending another batch of items and then ring yodel and tell them to put a note on your delivery for the driver to ring you before he delivers0 -

anyone know what this means? not delivered so how did they get signatory 'NULL' or is that the driver that is delayed on courier route? well confused and not able to get hold of yodel staff by any methods!!!0
