It is not the same machine. In addition, my link is to an online shop and is cheaper anyway.

Spec wise it's faster than most of the previous laptops that have been linked. The price is very good.

The only down side is the lack of hdmi (even though it says it has one, I'm pretty sure it don't).

I know that we are Newbies and all, but how is that quicker than the Toshiba? It is most definitely slower than the Toshiba with reference to specification.
It is a Dual Core Celeron pitted against a Dual Core Pentium. It also has less RAM.
Perhaps you missed my earlier link. It's on the first page.

Anyway, if stolt is still cogitating, he has already missed the boat. Seventy others recognised a good buy.

Now they have a rather basic first generation i3 Toshiba Satellite Pro C660-1RZ for £243.98.

Perhaps if they would like to step up to a bigger screen at 17.3", the Toshiba Satellite L670-1J8 for £258.98. A decent price for a larger screen.
