  • Hi Moove Insurance has asked to give a right of reply. MSE doesn't endorse anything a company says on the Forum.

Hi everyone, we realise you may have a few queries as we are a relatively new company. We felt we needed to post a response on this forum as we felt some of the comments have got out of hand and the amount of assumptions being made against us are getting out of hand.

To start with we would like to say thank you for pointing out the errors on our website, we really do appreciate this and rest assured the changes are being made. We do not disagree with people writing about their experiences with us on the forum however when a lot of users have not dealt with us we believe it is unfair to be advising others what to do based on incorrect assumptions.

Everybody makes mistakes, the main point is how you deal with and here at mooveinsurance.co.uk we pride ourselves on getting things correct first, then putting in procedures to make sure they don’t happen again. We would like to clear up some of the incorrect information & questions that have arisen about who we are:

    • We are an appointed representative of Aims Finance Limited - FSA number 557389 which can be typed in and found on the FSA register here: https://www.fsa.org.uk/register along with Harjit Moore's name.
The reason we are at AR status is for the simple fact that aligning our company with a specialist insurance supplier has effectively reduced the possibility of insurance related mistakes being made by utilizing the benefit of our Principal’s expertise also the FSA requires firms that administer insurance to demonstrate competency, including appropriate training. Partnering with a principal has provided access to wider training facilities. There are many large companies such as Protect your Bubble who are an AR firm.

    • The customer quotes on our website are 100% genuine customers who have bought from us.

I hope this has cleared up the questions that have arisen.
Could you do with a Money Makeover?

Are you sure about Kulwant Moore, looks like the director Harjit Moore (Who lives in Bradford) used to live at the same address as Kulwant Moore. That's some coincidence especially with unusual the unusual combination of first names you with the surname you both have

I can report it t your local Trading Standards for them to check it out under this law http://www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/business_leaflets/cpregs/oft979.pdf specifically this part...

    "18. A wolf in sheep’s clothing
Falsely claiming or creating the impression that the
trader is not acting for purposes relating to his/her trade,
business, craft or profession, or falsely representing
    oneself as a consumer."

Which basically means you and people associated with your company eg your family cannot pretend to be satisfied customers on the internet. I'll get them to check the poster on this thread that joined and made one post singing your praises and then left while I'm at it.
  • I got a call from them saying they could give me a buildings and contents quote. The quote was cheaper than anything else. I was informed I would be sent the quote. What I got in the post was a policy from the quoted insurance company for a property that bore no relation to the information I gave them. They blatantly entered made up information to get me a cheap quote on their system. They must get paid for anyone they pass to insurance companies.

I have been informed by an insurance agent that this company set up unauthorised insurance for me, resulting from a telephone enquiry, which I agreed to receive information only.

Fortunately no layment has yet been taken but I will be contacting Trading Standards to notify them.
