Glad you got some money from barclays (my arch enemy) and good luck with getting the rest of the ppi's back soon! I was wondering where you had gone

I might just do that.....been busy doing surveys when ever online (I'm just a tad addicted), it can't hurt can it.
I'm on here every day, checking up, then I think of a reply in my head and forget that if I don't post it no one else knows.....and I wonder why people don't listen to me. :rotfl:You have to start to finish.

Another cheque arrived today, just over £60 tax back for hubby. :T I've not been in uniform long enough to get tax back, but my tax code is nicer now.
It's tight again this payday....all bills are paid, but we've had to buy car tax (hoping to budget for the next one...) and it's MOT on Saturday (paid for) lets hope it's nice to us as it's not paid for if anything needs doing.
Off to a panto this weekend, and we've decided that we can't afford the usual pub meal before we go as with 6 of us it's not cheap, so we're going to drive up later so we get there in time to go the panto and we'll go the after party at the SIL's, the Travel lodge room is all paid for though with a £12 bargain.
Got woohoo bingo and SBTV going on in the background here, it's boring but should cash out eventually then woohoo will be well and truly ditched. Just wish I could get a big win to give me a boost and feel closer to my total.

It's all happening at once.
I'm off tomorrow finishing of MIL's house....carpet being laid in the morning, bed assembly in the afternoon. Working all weekend. My mum lands from Oz on Monday and needs fitting into our small house for a few days before she goes to stay with my Nan. (I wonder which child I'll kick out of their bed) My house is a right royal mess and at the minute still cold.
Oh yeah and the assistant manager position that I want has come up at our place so I only need to complete a business plan and SWAT assessment my Monday.... I've never done one before and I can't get loads of help from my manager as it's him doing the interview. ARGH!!! Stress isn't the word at the moment.
I think I need to get proactive and clean my house up as I always cope better with a clean house. You have to start to finish.

Well what a week.
My mum landed Monday - and held my hair in the early hours of the morning while i was sick...and sick, and sick. URGH. The bug has been through nearly all my children and my mum.
Had my interview today - no idea how it went. Time will tell I guess (though I'm swaying towards it went pants. :rotfl:)
On the plus side things financially are looking up. We've got a Lloyds PPI cheque due any day which will clear the CC with a bit left over. Hubbies bonus should be in a couple of weeks which will clear out Buy now pay later from christmas which means the free poll tax months will be clearing more of HFC and that should be gone by the end of march if not before. Hubbies bonus should replace the shower too.
I've been paid today, our VSP (emergency pot) is back up to full amount, we're getting something fixed on the heating and should still have enough to last til the next pay-packet. :T

Well the emergency pot got raided.
Bills are all paid, but we decided the family needed a treat being half term and using 'spare' money to fix the heating (is running loads better now and well worth the £60) so we went to Pizza hut - boy you need a loan to take a family of 6 in there.
On the plus side though, we were going to treat ourselves to a 'new toy' with part of hubbies bonus but after talking it through it's not worth struggling/not paying off debts for, so that's our good deed to out way our bad one.
Still waiting on the Lloyds cheque - I so wish it would hurry up as I want the CC clear!! Hubbies bonus is going to be used to pay the buy now pay later and replace the shower that broke just after christmas. (surprised hubby has lasted this long as he HATES baths) that means that the free poll tax months will clear HFC things will look loads better in just over a week and even better by the end of march as we should have some lovely 0's in my signature.
Littlewoods arrived today and I think it works out as only 2 payments left on that. Hubby is on about closing the account, but with the late payment last month I'm not sure if it's better for his credit file to leave it open for a few months, but getting rid of the temptation would be good. (we're not bad on little woods, but still if it's there..) Decisions, decisions.
I've also listed some bits on eBay, a couple of small prizes I won through work competitions (I seem to win them and nothing else), I've also listed another book and plan on doing more - after all they're free to list and doing nothing on my bookcase.
Got DS's old laptop to list soon too once hubby has wiped it etc as Nana treated him to a new computer. He kept pinching hubbies to play his games and while the youngest 2 had the 'old' laptops they're slow. DD3 isn't bothered as she hardly goes on it, so she's not getting a new one for quite a while. DS is going high school in september (so not ready for that) and Nana said she hadn't treated him for a while... I do love her. :smileyhea
Right off to mess a bit more with my spreadsheet I think. I've made one to track survey winnings and I want to tweak it a bit more. You have to start to finish.

I think I've got the eBay bug, that or it's because I don't have any surveys to do. I'm now about the list the internet security we got with DS's computer...
Might put a few more books up to, after all 80p is 80p. :rotfl:You have to start to finish.
