sounds exciting re PPI. I was at a sofa company the other day that tried to sell it to us... Doesn't sound like they've learned yet. They'd ticked they'd recommended it in our circumstances and that it would continue unless we cancelled it - I unticked it and said didn't need it as have cover through other means. I was really cross!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Right CC statement is in, and it's a bit less than I thought. I think my debt buster app is calculating interest on all the debt when I make payments, and the CC company must do it different. I'm still going to use it though as I like the idea of my amount going DOWN when I get a statement, not going up.
Been christmas shopping today with my vouchers. Love my paper money. LOL Spent £47 in boots, and got £10.76 worth of points with vouchers. Love a bargain
X Factor is painful tonight, so it might be time for my soak in the tub till it's over. (joys of teenagers in the house)You have to start to finish.

Right, it's 3 days to payday, and things have been tight....painfully tight, with the CC getting used once, but no MIL handout so all is good. (£15 on the CC is better than a £50 handout that would need paying back) Child Benefit got paid in today, so council tax was also paid - I HATE paying Council Tax, so I think the government gives with one hand and can have it back with another. :rotfl:
I've been asda and topped up the cupboards to last til Friday, also paid £20 off the CC so that covers the bit that went on plus more. I'll also still make my usual payment on Friday and an extra £30 approx when I get my new 4S and trade in my old phone (the difference will be going straight on the CC with no stopping or passing go). Anything left Friday night will also go on it....
I need to get listing on eBay again but this weather is putting me off. Hopefully it will be at least dry on Thursday and I'll get some photos taken ready on my day off. I'm off tomorrow but at the MIL's painting most of the day.You have to start to finish.

I keep telling myself that. The CC HAS gone down, we've NOT borrowed any extra, and it's nearly christmas (manic time for us, birthdays etc)
I'm still impatient though, and want the CC down to as low as i had it at one point last month.
Oh just remembered I'm getting half the one direction tickets money tomorrow from my daughters friend :T....that will go on the CC, after all that's what paid for them. I'm hoping the rest from my phone and other payment I'll make when I get paid helps it get down to under £300 again. I need to eBay - that helped loads and has helped keep us afloat a bit (hubbies wages are always tighter money wise than mine), plus I should get my bonus this month too though I need to make a start on buying christmas presents (mainly the kids main presents) as I don't want to use the CC for these.
My new phone 4S is my early christmas present from hubby...(even though we're not spending any money to get it), so I gave him his present early - a HP touchpad...he's like a big kid, been messing with it for a couple of days now. (and it's all paid for - cash, I've squirrelled it away from selling on eBay), it is good to remind myself every now and then that we're making progress. You have to start to finish.

Well getting all the money of DD's friend for one direction tickets didn't happen - only got £20 with the rest to 'follow'.
Will use this for kids dinner money/snack money which would be taken out of the bank tomorrow on payday :T and use the bank to put an extra £20 on the CC.
3rd load of washing is on, so I'm off to see if the camera has charged enough to take pictures for eBay. I need to get more funds. You have to start to finish.
