Bummer, OH was just about to open a web saver reward into which was going to put matured proceeds from a regular saver from which to drip feed when starting a new regular saver. This would have been convenient as would've been able to set up standing order from the web saver reward back to firstdirect 1st account from where the standing order has to come for the regular saver.0 -

Why does their website say Monday the 12th then?0 -
The date 09 Sep 2011 from glider's post is telling you when the information about range withdrawal was issued. Why does their website say Monday the 12th then?
It's not telling you when the new products come out.
The key is the full stop.ALL SAVINGS PRODUCT RANGE withdrawn w.e.f. 5pm 9.9.11, new product range to be announced.

Looks like the long awaited merge of Halifax and Lloyds banks is under way from a customer point of view. A little birdie mentioned that Halifax bank and savings accounts were being moved across to the Lloyds systems this weekend. I have a Halifax account so I hope it all goes smoothly. Maybe we'll see on Sunday/Monday. It is billed as the largest merger of data in the UK if not wider.0
