Hi
Wondering should I contact Lloyds or just leave it?
My claim was upheld by FOS and Lloyds have now sent me a letter with the calculations saying that they will pay the amount into my bank account. However, when i have read on here most people have to send an acceptance form off before its paid. In my letter it doesnt say anything, just that if I am not happy to contact FOS.
Should I chase Lloyds to see if i should have something to sign to send back.

You do not say whether it was upheld by an Ombudsman or an adjudicator. If Lloyds TSB has simply complied with an adjudicator's recommendation then there should be a formal offer and acceptance.
If it is a decision by an Ombudsman, then you must return the acceptance to FOS before the time limit (i.e. FOS must receive it by then). If you do then the firm has no need to make an "offer" as the award is a legally enforcible debt.0 -
I'd suggest contacting the person who sent the letter to ask. It might be they've just forgotten to enclose it.0

Hi
It was originally upheld by an adjudicator last year and then put in a queue for the Ombudsman and at the beginning of July received notification from FOS that Lloyds had decided to pay. I did receive a letter from FOS to say if I agreed not to do anything and after 14 days they would contact Lloyds who then should respond with their figures.
I received a letter with the figures 2 weeks ago but (as never been in this position before) thought that I should have had to make contact to say I agree with this figure.

Just rang Lloyds to see if they could give me any idea of when they will be making payments. The response was that they couldnt tell me how long it is taking for payments to be made and that I should just wait.
Do we get extra interest on this. If I was 2 weeks late with my loan payment they would soon be on the phone0 -

Hi Michelle
How long have you been waiting?
In my experience with Lloyds, with all of them its been about 21 to 28 days after they receive the signed acceptance.
Hope your not waiting much longer now, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Ive been waiting 3 weeks. I havent sent an acceptance letter of as this was going through FOS - and they sent my acceptance to Lloyds on my behalf (I hope). The letter I got from FOS was if they didnt hear from me within 14 days they would contact Lloyds. Lloyds then sent me a letter with the amount they were going to pay but no date when they were going to pay by, which is why I rang to check.
So I suppose its just a waiting game, but wished they would hurry up this claim has been going on for 18 months and it was for my credit card.0 -

Hi
Last year I had the ppi on 2 loans and a credit card upheld by Lloyds. I put in a claim end May for 5 previous loans, all with the same reasons as the other 2 hold. Am I grasping at straws or do you think they may uphold these ones as well. I am now on week 13 and just waiting.
My reasons were:
Front loaded
Not informed about additoinal interest and payments with or without ppi
Not told that if I needed it I could get it elsewhere (never knew insurance companies gave this until recently)
Purchased in the bank, bank was aware I was covered elsewhere especially through work
When I first went to the bank for a bank card I came out with a loan and a credit card, and was informed that I needed ppi and was given horror stories of those who didnt have it who lost their houses and baliffs going to houses, so that it would be a good idea. Until 2 years ago I actually took ppi out on everything as I always remembered the advice given by the bank manager at the time.
What are other p eoples thoughts.0 -

Hi
I put in a claim for 2 loans with Lloyds (same form). Just received an uphold letter but it only states one loan reference number and Ive not received a reject letter about the other loan.
Do you think they may have forgotten to put it on or should I ring to chase
