Help with baby girls names

I love Grace and Gracie too.
Speaking as someone who has experienced the fog of tiredness which descends when one child is born, much less two at once, I would also advise avoiding anything which sounds like the first twin's name, or the name of any other family member! The number of times I have called my children by the wrong name is enormous, and I guess you really don't want to do this when they are twins, especially if they are identicals.
Why not forget about the matching pairs aspect for a while, and just shortlist another girls name, then see whether you think they work as a twosome. Though there is nothing to say they have to. Would you coordinate siblings names if not twins? If you wouldn't, and don't intend doing the matching outfits thing either, then maybe not doing so with twins would help them both have separate identities as well as twin ones?
I personally like traditional names, like Elizabeth, Alice, etc and think they go nicely with Grace too. But she isn't my child 0 0

Grace is lovely. With a twin I do wonder if the second will get the nickname ''favour'' whatever you call her.
Personally, I'd go for a nother ''characteristic'' name, both slightly old fashioned but pretty. I love Honor, Charity is pretty, Hope is quite popular.0

Ok, confession here, my all time fave name is Cressida, but everyone really hates it I so wanted to call my DD it. I so wanted to call my DD it.
I too think that Grace is better than Gracie, she won't thank you for it when she's in those in between years.
Also, I don't really like twins with names that 'go together' it's a bit too twee for me, you wouldn't (well I wouldn't) do it with brothers or sisters, so why with twins?
Other names I do like are
 Emelia
 Sophia
 Imogen
 Jane
 Louise/Louisa
 Violet

Gracie is lovely an I think an equally tradtional/ 'old fashioned' (mean that in a nice way) name like Lily, Maisy, Esme, Eliza, Agnes (love Aggie)
That is exactly it. We feel Gracie is a very traditional/old fashioned name and were looking for a 2nd one. Thank you for the above suggestions. Definately ones to add to the list.
I take on board peoples suggestions about maybe using Grace and having Gracie as a nickname. Naming a baby is a big responsibility isn't it. My cousin suggested a couple of 'old fashioned' names ;- Elsie and Leah but I am not sure. Any opinions much welcomed. Thank you all so much for the suggestions so far it is really helping.0

I love the names you have suggested. Must admit when I read the name 'Hope' in your post I got a bit teary. We tried for nearly 2 years to fall pregnant so 'hope' would definately be an apt name. I do love 'Honor' as well. We have a really plain surname so it could pretty much carry any first name.
I am also loving Olivia and Darcey. Thanks for helping me with this folks.0

Honor and Grace are lovely names for women, and as littlies Gracie and Honey seem cute enough.
Have you got middle names sorted ? 0 ? 0
