Beth....try not to worry too much.....there are protocols in place in the hospitals where anyone with certain symptoms such as weight loss have to have their appointments organised within a certain timescale. At ours we were not allowed to leave anyone longer than 2 weeks from the initial appointment.......it doesnt mean there is something urgently wrong with you:o
Please do not think you are being indulgent....it must be very worrying..feel free to come on and talk about it all you like...we are all here for you.
I hope they have given you all info and instructions for Thurs....please PM me if you are unsure about anything lovey xx

The info I got on the phone this a/noon was not to eat within 6hrs of my app (no probs there then) and to only have sips of water. Make sure I have someone with me as they may have take a (bit) from my insides ? DH has insisted he drives and is with me at all times, he is :A
I promise I wil stop my neg posts, there are more in much worse condition than I am imagining. Bless yah all.

Beth - there may be others worse off than you - but it doesn't stop you worrying about you -and thats not self indulgent, its fact. Lots of love to you and good vibes so that everything goes well. Positive point is that you get things sorted quicker.
    Best of luck xx

Sure are probably lots worse off than a lot of us but that doesn't invalidate what you're feeling so if you want to offload we are all here to support you. You said you weren't telling any family aside from DH so rather then soley rely on him then please talk to us. Being positive is all well and good but it doesn't mean slapping a smile on your face when you're scared shi!tless inside xxxx

    Afternoon!

    Well done Noah! :j

Hope all our kids, and Hester, are settling in ok at school. ;)

Cheapskate, were you a child bride? :D

Blowing a hoolie here, too. Making carrot and lentil soup to warm us up, and doing a bit of housework, too. I want to make a start on decorating DS2's bedroom this weekend, and need to squeeze another clearout, in.

Hope its all gone well, Wolfy.xx

Bramble, do you want a lift to Monklands? Its really no bother. xxx

    Have a nice evening all,

    Hello all,

Have read this in bits at different times through the day....so may I now offer hugs to all I fail to mention due to advancing age!

Lone Wolf...hope that to-day hasn't been too traumatic for you...

NPM...how proud you must be of that wonderful young man!

esmf....no words of advice to offer I'm afraid....have only moved 5 miles from where I was born, positive vibes that the decision you make will be the best for you all.

Candy....saw Dexter on FB, very handsome young man.

Beth....lots of hugs and positive thoughts for you, feel free to give yourself a little 'selfish' time, you do far too much for others, concentrate on you for now....agree with what NPM said, it may not mean that they have found something dreadful in your tests. Feel free to pm me at any stage, having been with the bad stuff many moons ago, I know that a rant to a stranger is often just what you need.

Ruby...glad that DD had a good day in college, sorry to hear about the lack of talent....she will cope no doubt.

Bramble.....hope that you are re-assured by your visit to Grandfather.

See....knew that would happen, all memoried out now.

Its been cold here to-day, some rain although not much....OH lit the living room fire as soon as he returned from his paper trip this morning, we had a light breakfast (toast, jam and tea) and then went out for an early dinner...the man is mad, seems intent on not leaving a cent when he dies, manage to rein him in most of the time, but he breaks out no matter what I do.

May make a trip to IKEA to-morrow, need some bookshelves if I can manage to open my purse!

Sleep well all and stay safe.

    Marie

    late one from me tonight..
(((hugs))) Betheebee - Thurs will come round all the same, same as any day does, so try not to spend your time from now until then worrying about it. You are exactly the same person you were this time last week, with the same set of characteristics, likes, dislikes = what makes up YOU (of that makes sense? It's what I tell myself if I begin to get worked up and it works for me). Thinking of you & sending positive thoughts over the airwaves for you x
Molly - sorry your return home was a bit difficult. Kids can be so blimmin' trying, can't they? Hope you are able to think nice thoughts of the good times you had in Bath.
NPM - glad Noah had such a good day - well done that wee man!
Redruby - I had to laugh at your DD's comments on the (lack of) boys. At least they won't distract her!
Off to bed in a mo. Windy out there and have to close the bedroom wind as it was a bit too blustery. Going to have some warm milk....with a nip of Drambuie in it;). Folks, if you haven't tried it, well...try it. It's medicinal of course :)
