Meet the newest addition to the G&B household - the little white one is Mouse. We got her from the shelter today, she is so skinny and not in great condition. Very friendly though. The slightly demented looking black one is Newton.

Thanks, greenbee. There are no spares around at work and I've just splashed out on a wheelie case trolley thingy, so the spare power lead will have to go on next month's wishlist. It's a sensible idea though.

It wasn't a sensible idea to take my book when I went in the bath. It's finished, but my jobs aren't. :o I'll do the marking in the morning and fortunately tomorrow isn't too bad, so I should be able to make up lost time. Can't afford to do it again, though.

Lovely puss cats G&B:) I like the idea of a demented cat;)

    Well what a day.
I was up at 6.45 ironing
    at work by 9am
    back home at 12.30

In the car showroom at 2pm and by 4.45pm I had the salesman in a half-nelson and had got the monthly cost of the car down from $173 to $140 and talked him into giving us the better spec car. Paperwork has been signed and DD1 is over the moon with a brand new shiny black car. It's ridiculous that it's cheaper to buy a new car than a second hand one. She is paying for it herself with her hard earned money from the airport security job.

Back home. Washed all hard floors and hoovered the stairs landing, top stairs and top landing.

Visited Tesco as realised I had nothing for packed lunches.

DS1 - the trainee chef - cooked dinner (faints in amazement).
    Ate yummy dinner.
Sorted ironing pile, emptied DW and WM then got washing off line before rain.
    Put away all the ironing.
    Made packed lunches.
S/S the kitchen and cleaned the en-suite.

Must get to bed now or I will never get up for school in the morning!

  • Thank you everyone....and the blood results were only to say that CRP and ESR were up. 29 and 57, I think. Oh well, what do they expect from someone with RA?

Played at the club tonight. Almost forgotten how to do the jazz stuff. Comping is hard work.

Stuffed chips for dinner at 11, chased Minion off to bed eventually - and her crutches are very nicely decorated now. And I am finally tired. So I'm off to bed.

    Night all!
