  • Ok Im off for another HHC in the spare room, the first was spent organising another mass of paperwork into file and shred piles and doing a couple of bin bag dances.

Thanks for that - it's what Mr LW was trying to describe to me (he saw the TV series, I didn't) - he reckons the dogs' owners must be fans.:o

We've had a Peggy Sue staying with us previously - but no prizes for guessing her owners' taste in music!:D

'Fraid I've done bu88er all except make choccie mousse for today's and tomorrow's pud; tonight's dins is the 2nd half of the quiche I made yesterday, and Mr LW has offered to cook egg'n'chips for us tomorrow.:A
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • ok my rooms a bit tidier and the bathroom has had a once over. going to go and get some dinner and then decide what im doing for the rest of the night. veging with the tv or pc or bed with a dvd is the big choice and im thinking bed may win :rotfl:

My flying today has consisted of S&Sing the kitchen, putting a load of washing on and................... getting a cat:) She's pretty, if a little scruffy! She's a rescue and needs fed up a bit as she was a stray. Will post pics when she has settled a bit, dont want to scare her.

  • Ok, have failed miserably already lol. It started off ok, cleared the LR floor, ready to be swept and mopped but then I realised that I left my broom, mop and bucket in DP car as we were cleaning his shop out on Friday. So then I didn't carry on but went to Zumba, came home, had some lunch and went to see DP for a bit. And then it was time to get DD from school. Oh well, will do better tomorrow.

  • Hall, stairs and landing DONE. Even moved the linen chest of drawers on the top landing and hoovered under it. Haven't done that since we moved in 5 years ago!

Living room DONE except that I need to carry all the ironing upstairs and put it away. A job I avoid if I can as pathetic left achilles tendon limits me to stairs no more than 5 times a day or I won't be able to walk at all tomorrow....

Cleaned DS1s shoes and trainers and packed for school on Wednesday. Two loads of washing on the line in a gale force wind. Made tomato soup using toms & onions from the garden - simmering ready for lunch. Made chicken goujon things for DSs lunch. Chopped, blanched and frozen 3kg runner beans. Will make some runner bean chutney later once Mr T arrives this PM with the shopping as have run out of sugar. Chutney done - looks a bit odd but a recipe recommended by several people so maybe it will improve with age?! Finished the ironing as well - even the fitted box valance sheet which is the most difficult thing to iron and has been in the basket for 8 weeks!

Out to watch football match with DH and DS1 tonight - DS first time at a "proper" stadium (well, Charlton anyway!). Have to put up with the Valley as local and can't afford White Hart Lane.
