Have a small request - does anyone have the "map to" analogy that helps explain your feelings over discovering you have a child with special needs? I found it really useful to explain to others over DS, and now I'd like to pay it forward by helping friends who've just had the "news" about their child. Thanks in advance 'cos I know someone will have it on this thread.

Not sure what the 'map to' is, but I've used this before - hope it helps

I've done some paperwork, decluttering and a 60 in 60 as well as lots of sorting, tidying and rearranging in my classroom.

Hope all returning pupils and staff had a good day today - my class aren't in until Weds!

    Welcome to all newbies

Welcome back all returners - good to see you posting x

Cleaned kitchen, sterilised, swept throughout downstairs, did washing, made up bottles, put out bins and sorted out recycling.

Not as much as I would have liked but I've been out most of the day. Bath now then bath baby and sort clean washing out.

Meet the newest addition to the G&B household - the little white one is Mouse. We got her from the shelter today, she is so skinny and not in great condition. Very friendly though. The slightly demented looking black one is Newton.

  • mummyof5 - I hope you are ok. Take it easy :)

After the kids went home, I cleared the LR/DR floors, checked under sofas/chairs etc for stray toys (if I don't find them the dog definitely will!), vac'd through downstairs and emptied the DW. Walked the dog with DH (he got sent home from work an hour early) & cooked dinner.

I am only working until 1pm tomorrow, and I have promised to take DD2 into town. Hopefully I can catch up with flying aswell.

I have bids on 5 of my Ebay items :j (grand total of nearly £6 - but it's a start :))

Hi to all the fly ladies,
You have been my inspiration over the last 6 weeks. I have been lurking and quietly joining in.

I now feel confident enough (hopefully) to be able to join in if you will let me. I have de-cluttered my home to death thanks to Pigpen and Toots. I have read all about your lives and feel like I know you all.

Can't wait to find out about all the new fly-babies!:D

    So here is my list:
    Cleaned kitchen
    Cleaned living room.
Made a batch of crispie cakes for DS first day back at school.

Oh and been back to work! Baby steps!

Also hope this is the link for Mum on a mission
