Tesco H&B vouchers

Hi all hope your weekend is good. I have taken to popping into a tesco whenever I pass one and my stash is coming along nicely. I now realise how hit and miss it can be with cashiers. I have had to ask twice for vouchers to be 'tried' again this week when they have said they don't work and hay presto they did both times! Not having much luck with the Health ones.
Brought 2 x IQ reduced to £3.99
1x denture tablets 15p
Tried to used quit £2 of healthcare
and 2 x £1 of £4 on healthcare.
Really shocked that only 1 of the £1 worked - maybe denture tabs (for vase cleaning) don't count as health?
Going to try again tomorrow with different vitamins - any tips on combining these welcome.
Sadly I am excited about the offer change on tuesday:o
NB don't want slimfast thoughThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I wanted to try the healthbars on bogof at £1.99 with something to take it over £8 but my local store did not stock them. I may try these tomorrow when I do the main family shop.
As DS starts swimming lessons at 8.45am tomorrow morning I will have lots of time for tescoing.

A'noon guys
After a bit of a forced non-tesco week (bl@@dy assignments) I ventured out today with quite a long normal shopping list (and of course my usual H&B list)
None of my usual peeps were on the tills so picked a young lassy and was all ready to pay full price for all my shopping................how wrong was I!!!!
Split into 2 shops one for me & one for MIL !!!
I spent £93.12 before BOGOFs - total cash paid £8.56 :j
Bearing in mind this cash was a refund from a jumper I bought using clothing coupons I basically shopped for free today.
In my haul was also 4x mails (worth £18)(thanks welshy) and one prima (worth about £30 for the free haircut voucher inside)for free haircut along with nearly £30 worth of toiletries (worth about £15 at a car boot) I actually made about nearly £65 from my trip.
Now who said Tesco was stingy..........0 -
Last time I was in Tescos which was well ............ not long ago, they had the folding pasting tables reduced to £4.62 to clear. I was just thinking that for the summer car boots they would be ideal and if I slip them a Daily Mail voucher for £4 off it is a top bargain ! I can just see me sat behind one, sipping my delicious slimfast in the lovely Welsh sunshine.

I had a great day at tescos. Anyone who frequents the Brent Park branch will know what a bunch of sour-faced jobsworth they are there. Anyway I picked out a youg lad who I presumed wouldn't be arsed- I was right. I got:
4 x Johnson body washes(they are lovely)(BOGOF)
2 X deep heat spray (BOGOF)
one Oblas oil thingy for my daughters bunged up nose and a Vapour rub.
I successfully used:
50 points voucher
£1.25 beauty quit voucher
£1.25 toiletries quit voucher
£2 healthcare quit voucher
£1 H&b voucher
£2.50 H&B voucher
£1 healthcare H&B voucher
I also presented 5 assorted vouchers cut out this week and he took them all, didn't bat an eyelid.:j
I think it helps when you're doing your normal grocery shop (I always put through the toiletries first before food) cos they can't remember what you have and haven't bought!!Third time lucky on WW I hope :j
January: 13st 11lb , February: 13st 2.5lb, March: 12st 13lb, April: 12st 10.5lb, May: 12st 2lb, June: 12st 1lb, July: 12st 1lb, August: 11st 11lb, September: 11st 10.5lb, October: 11st 12.5lb, Currently 11st 8lb0 -

I managed to get a few bits. Thanks to everyone who has helped me out!!!
Still not managed to get my aussie hair stuffBut I did get a refund on them. So not so gutted.
Our store had little flyer things by the pantene shampoo saying if you bought any product you get 3 free magazines or something. I did pick some up but they have walked off the kitchen table. Don't know if these will be of use to anyone?? Maybe Pantene will be bogof next??
(Must try and get off the sofa to find them)
Oh and I got a wee picture now(look left) Do you like it ????
Pants, got to go back and see if I can get a pasting table for the summer. Well we are moving house as well.0 -
Tonight I did this:
spend:
2 x £3.49 on minidex childrens tonic
2 packs aspirin @ 14p each
1 toothpaste at 98p each
2 x lynx shower gel on BOGOF at £1.88
2 x garnier night cream on half price at £4.24 each
1 pack nappies
used £5.90 of quit vouchers and had a few more that wouldn't scan
got 100 points for the nappies
got 50 points for the toothpaste
took remaining vouchers to CS and proceeeded to confuse her enough that she took a further £6.90 of quit coupons off me and gave me the cash.
I then got a refund for the nappies as they were the wrong size.
So in total £16.80 off and 189 points (used £4 of normal coupons) my spend of £29 (including my shopping)
I think I did OK! Esp as they won't take more than 10% of coupons in my store at the moment.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

used quit vouchers and the £1 voucher from the freebie tesco mag, so got the toiletries for free AND over £1.40 taken off my shopping total. cool!
going back tomorrow!
