Today I bought 2xfacial wipes@1.49 bogof and 2xhand wash@1.38 also bogof. Used 2x1.25 vouchers from quit pack and 50points from h&b. First voucher scanned ok, but I couldn't get the second one to scan. A message came up saying "customer not spent required amount" but before bogof, total was over 5.00. SA had to put the voucher through manually. Anyone got any idea why this happened? I've used these vouchers before on a 5.00 spend and this has never happened before.
Also, I was overcharged for something. Went to customer services to get a refund, but was only given the difference. I mentioned Tesco's refund policy, but the SA said "at this store, we only give you the difference, never a full refund". I told her I was going to ring CS about that, because I have always had a full refund - at other Tesco stores - whenever I've been overcharged.
Are individual stores allowed to make up their own rules?0 -
Firstly the facial wipes are classed as beauty not toiletries so it would be the toiletries voucher that did not work.
Secondly no the store cannot make their own rules up you can query it with HO of you think it is worth it or can put it down to experience and maybe next time call HO from the store.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -

My store tried to palm me off with just the difference, the first time they said I hadn't been overcharged in the right way!!! So I complained to HO and I got a full refund.
The second time when I pointed the policy out to the SA, she said they didn't do it automatically because it would mean I wouldn't be able to bring it back if it was faulty, I said that was fine and had a full refund!!!
They all try to get out of RnR whatever way possible.
Sorry gone a bit off topic.0 -

Whenever I buy shampoo, the vouchers scan ok. Maybe I should stick to just buying shampoo:D
Do you think it might be something to do with the order you scan the vouchers? I usually scan the beauty1.25 first, then the toiliteries1.25. I don't know why I do this, but it usually works...except for today of course0 -

The "Extra" bars (one of those muslie yohurt type bars, pcked with vitamins) that are next to slim fast in my shop does anyone know if you can use the health care vouchers. They are actually quite tasty and are £1.99 BOGOF. so with a little extra purchase you could get them for free 2 x £1 H&B and 1 x £2 quit pack
Any comments would be appreciated
