Tesco H&B vouchers

I made two Tesco trips today, but just wasn't in the mood to use ANY vouchers, still no more h&b vouchers. I think they've all gone for good. Tons of Quit kit though.

Just as I was leaving, I saw a male cashier who always accepts anything, and I did think "argh, could have gone to him" LOL, I can't win!!

O.k Only a small fry but the start of things

Put two toothbrushes and two johnsons shower stuff through with the 1.25x2 from quit and 2.50 h&b.

So proud of myself.:D

Had to ask the woman if the shower stuff was toilet or beauty and she put it through the till to see if it would work.

Not sure if I could hand over more than 3 coupons in one go. I am suprised she even took 3 as our Tesco is pants like that.

So is there a list anywhere of what is classed as toilet and what is beauty cause this is really confusing me.????

Well done Pingua - bit like taking the stabalizer off the kids bike you will be free wheeling before you know it! I know the shampoo/conditioner and shower gel worked as both for toiletries and beauty but that is all I do know so I'll end up with heaps of them. I pushed my luck with doing toiletries and clothes in one transaction today with a few bottles of wine for good measure and had a great cashier so revisited her a bit later!

Can anyone confirm that for Adidas Deo you cannot use the 1.25 health and beauty vouchers??

I decided to change from my usual shampoo or shower gel, when i handed over the H&B one the till bleeped. Ahh im getting used to being in profit when using me vouchers!!

FINALLY managed to use some today after a kind MSEer sent me some (thanks Harrietxxx ) and used 2 x £1 magazine, 1 x £2.50 and 1 x £1 H+B voucher and 2 x £1.25 quit kit and 5 x 50pointers and bought 4 x £2.59 toothpaste. Will be going back tomorrow to stock up on different things.

Also got a till spit for 50 points if you buy the telegraph.

I might be wrong as haven't tried it.. but wouldn't have thought so, I've been using the toiletries £2.50, £1 from h+b plus the £1.25 from the quit pack for this.. not found the one in the mags :-(

The beauty one doesn't scan when you buy the adidas APD, I think its the only one we have found that doesn't work

Can I use these on the self scan till? I finally saw a bundle of the H&B leaflets today, well I was almost hyperventilating! Grabbed a handful but not sure if they can be used at the self scan?? If not will have to steer clear of my usual Tesco as it's tiny and full of middle aged women who never smile!!

Should work fine on the self scan tills, some are set to "bleep" for authorisation by a hovering SA if it reaches a discount of X amount, or if you use more coupons than products, or if it's a certain percentage of the value... etc. Any problems and the SA just overrides it as long as you use the legit vouchers or it'll beep to say not valid itself and you just pocket the voucher for another day
