Personally I have never had any real trouble using coupons at Chesterfield ... even the ladies on the tills are willing to accept and scan most things ...

This is a bump and a reply! (page 2 we are on now)

    Little bill,

I have found that the cashiers are getting a bit wiser at chesterfield. I had a few H & B rejected last week (You can only use one),andthat isn't the first time.
Except for H & B I never tend to use more than 10 -20% in vouchers. I used to use somerfield vouchers but I know that the cashiers at cheterfield have been told to not take them. I've done a few H & B shops at the alfreton branch on self scan and it's been great.

It just gives options, I won't use them all the time.
Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

Do the tills not beep at you when you do coupons???
  • The self scanner was beeping constantly today when I was scanning my H&B vouchers this morning, even the points ones. Actually, it was quite nice because it was 7.20am and the supervisor was a lovely bit of eye candy and it was just terrible that he had to hover around whilst I scanned my vouchers !

He also commented that he didn't care about what was scanned and that if he got the sack by allowing coupon users to use whatever they want, then so be it !.

I bought: 2 toothpaste, 2 colgate navigator toothbrushes and the chewy vitamin tables for the kids and slimfast.

;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)
  • Just back from Tesco and bought 2 deodorants and 4 packs of face wipes, after bogof this was £6.39, used 1.25 from quit kits (both) and 2.50 and £1 meaning just 39p paid, and this made a change from toothbrushes, toothpaste and shampoo and shower gel!
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

I went Tesco today, asked two SA's about using toiletry vouchers, both were fine to try them all, so handed over 6 vouchers, of course all were accepted, could have used 3 more, but didn't want to push it.

Did my usual combo of Johnsons body wash, handwash and mouthwash, total: £13.92 before BOGOF £6.96 after.

After vouchers, £-1.04. I used two of the toiletry ones from the mags (thank you Karen23) Anyway, those coupons state you can use them per product, so even better if I'm challenged!

Hope to use clothing vouchers tomorrow.

Can anyone tell me if the mens spring time works if you don't buy mens clothes? (like the blue one?)

  • 4 x Adidas Mens deodorant - think they were £2.59 bogof - used 1xbeauty and 1xtoiletries quit pack, 1 x £2.50 toiletries h and b, 2x toiletries £1 mag. So £7 off and total for goods was £5.18. Bought about £5 food as well, as a token of my gratitude.

I've managed to get some h&b vouchers from ebay. Can anyone advise if this will work:
want to buy Fusion blades £7.98
something on bogof £2.02 or more.
    Will use
    1 x h&b £2.50 off £10
    2 x h&b £1.00 off £4
    2 x quit h&b £1.25
    2 x quit toiletry £1.25
    Thanks

if I am thinking right, you only have to buy something on bogof to the value of 1.01, so till thinks its 2.02 + 7.98 fusion = £10 so after the vouchers (seems perfect except your missing points coupons so you could use 3 if three products brought) so 50p for some fusion blades seems a good buy to me :T
