The "Extra" bars (one of those muslie yohurt type bars, pcked with vitamins) that are next to slim fast in my shop does anyone know if you can use the health care vouchers. They are actually quite tasty and are £1.99 BOGOF. so with a little extra purchase you could get them for free 2 x £1 H&B and 1 x £2 quit pack

Any comments would be appreciated

On Tuesday I bought 2 Adidas deo, 2 imperial leather shower gel and 2 imperial leather bath foam. I used one £2.50 h&b, two £1 h&b, one £1.25 toiletries QK and the £1.25 beauty QK. So as long as you are combining the adidas with something else, I think they will scan ok. They did for me.

Just so you know I did a H&B shop today at the self scan.

Had a great laugh with the till operator as I had to call her over three times.

Got 10 x slimfast
2 x adidas deo
2 x toothpaste

Also bought some Pampers training pants as I had a 150 point voucher for those, so thought I'd cash that while they are on offer.

Total shop came to 2.98 and I managed to use 5 50 pointers as well.

The slimfast are genius as teh helthcare vouchers from H&B and quit packs work, so that is 3.00 off those straight off the bat.

Was great as the vouchers were scanning fine, until it blipped at me telling me I'd used too many vouchers. Till operator came over and moaned at the technlogy, so I carried on with vouchers, it blipped again. The third time she laughed saying I'd broken it, then after entering her code asked what vouchers I had put in as the total for the vouchers and BOGOF was so large - so I told her and she just said that the self scans blip up if there are too many vouchers but it should be ok, she then proceeded to scan my last two vouchers for me to check they went through.

Genius - I'll be self scanning again until my H&B's run out.

I *think* the toiletry voucher worked on the Adidas and the beauty voucher worked on the imperial leather. A combination costing more than £8 before bogofs would normally accept two of each of those vouchers but adding the Adidas means you would only get one of the beauty ones scanning but would get away with two of the toiletry ones.

our self scans bleep on the third vuocher and the staff will not authorise anything more than ten percent of the shopping, and also check each coupon for useby date, if it says one coupon per transaction etc.

i think if i can grab some quit vouchers off my sis that i can do a bogof that comes to £5-ish, putting 2 of the £1.25 quit vouchers through the till but no other vouchers (and i'd need to add other shopping too - although our self scans have a ten item limit). so if i'm only using 2 vouchers the till shouldn't beep unless it's also checking for the 10% limit.

Total decucted = £7.00 = -£1.84

+ 4x50 pointers = 200 points or £8 of a xl.com flight.

So i always use these vouchers along with about another £5 worth of shopping.

I've got about 30 deodrants upstairs for me and hubby.

is it tomorrow when the new offers come into place.

Anyone got any H&B left that won't get used? I could do with adding to my toiletry stache. Still haven't seen any of these or the QK in my Tesco.
