Tesco H&B vouchers

hi all its the dodo again and i just cant get my head round this so please bear with me.
right i went to mr ts today and no h & b vouchers to be seen but i did get 5 of the quit packs and 1 voucher from the mag.
i also have the blue clothing vouchers aswell.
could any of you kind people help me with the best combos for these vouchers. i would really appreciate it. i think i need it spelled out though as if talking to a 5 year old child.

In the quit pack you can use the £1.25 beauty and £1.25 toiletries together. At the moment I an buying either herbal essence shampoo or johnsons bodywash (not johnsons baby) both are £2.59 on bogof. Pick up 2 and use both vouchers, the till thinks you have spent over £5 and will deduct both. So you pay 18p for 2 X £2.59 items.

I have had a marvellous shop today, and DD3 did not vomit en-route so another bonus there (she gets car sick)

I did 2 small shops and one large shop.

First shop - finest beef lasagne, finest cottage pie, 4 packs of the food bars, one box of cat food, 2 slimfast, 2 carex handwash, 4 toothbrushes

total I paid was £2.55 and I gained 100 points for buying the finest items.

2nd shop -

cat food, slimfast x 2, food bars x 4, bodywash x 4 - sub total £21.93 after vouchers and discounts balance to pay was just 91p.

3rd shop getting £8 of healthcare items, £10 of toiletries and all my weekly groceries for a family of 6, plus £60 worth of clothing, total was £178.04 after bogofs etc £162.46

Using vouchers I paid just £79.31 !!! and gained 1010 points today. I will post more about my clothing on the clothing thread but I chose items from the sale which before the sale would have amounted to: £154 !!! (this included a lovely wool coat reduced from £55 to £20). The SA took all my blue vouchers, my quit clothing vouchers and my spring vouchers.

Sadly, all the pasting tables had gone but on the way out I found a till spill for 20 points when spending 80p or more on canned veg and found a few loose £1 off toiletry vouchers which expire tomorrow.

Thanks to whoever posted the tip about the healthcare bars, I now have 12 packs and myself and Mr Welshy will take them to work.

hi there welshy which combos of vouchers did you use for the first two hauls. any advice to a tescos novice is much appreciated.

I used 2 x £1.25 quit pack vouchers, 2 x £1.00 h&b vouchers, 1 x £2.50 voucher for the toiletries, eg if you buy 4 packs of the johnson and johnson shower gel priced at £2.59 on bogof for 4 you only pay 18p !!!

and I bought something extra healthcare chewy bars bogof @ £1.99 each x 4 and 2 x slimfast @ 86p on bogof using a £2.00 healthcare voucher and 2 x £1.00 healthcare vouchers = total to pay was 82p to pay.

Previously, I have bought 10 x slimfast @ £8.60 on bogof = £4.30 - £2.00 quit pack, minus 2 x £1.00 healthcare = 30p to pay.

1 x £2.50 h&b
2 x £1.25 quit toilet
2 x £1.25 beauty
2 x £1 h&b
and until today 2 x £1 out of tesco mag

so you have about £6 to spend!!
thats if you find a really kind till op
even without the tesco mag one thats stil £4 profit

Think you can use the £1 voucher from Tesco mag tomorrow (expires tomorrow). I had planned a BIG tesco haul tomorrow

I've been using the above vouchers AS WELL AS 4x 40p off Colgate from QK on:
4x Colgate pump (2for£3)
plus either
2x Aquafresh (£2.99 bogof)
or
2x Johnsons ShowerGel or BodyWash (£2.59 bogof)
or
2x Herbal Essence Shampoo/Conditioner (£2.78 bogof)

This combo gives you free toiletries each time with some money of your groceries as well, providing you choose a scan-happy SA .

Am looking forward to the offers changing later this week to get some different items. Am still looking for those healthbars to finally use some of those Healthcare vouchers, must try a larger store this week :cool: .

bit ahead of myself thought it was the 5th today!!

i now have about 40 bottles of that j&j shower gel its really nice and my daughter does too

also got about 20 bnottles of the simple shower gel

does any one know if the j&j body wash works the same way?

Does anyone know if either the H&B or the quit beauty/toiletries vouchers work on Hair Dyes and if so which vouchers? Also would any of them cover Johnson's cotton buds or would these be considered baby stuff.

Have enjoyed stocking up on shampoo/shower gel at Mr T's expense and am looking to get some other things I normally use before the vouchers expire.;)

If anyone still needs any of these vouchers, pm me, I have some spare H&B £2.50 & £1 but have used the points vouchers!
