Tesco 1 - 6 pound off. SA would only take one of each (young male, Old Mr T's)
Tesco 2 - 6 pound off. SA asked her mate who said only scan 4 (oops she said to me as she scanned the 6th vouchers. Old Mr T's)
Tesco 3 - 7 pound off SA Had no probs taking them. The bill came to .48p (ran out of things to buy. Young female SA, Recent opened Tesco).

INSERT CATCHY PHRASE HERE0 -
Being stuck in boring executive meetings today and not leaving the office until 6.30pm meant I just had to get my fix of toiletries and some strawberries for DD1 to take to Guides.
this time I thought I'd go for the quick option and try the self-scanners. The supervisor was a young lad and I am sure he wondered what planet I had come from.
first transaction - I bought my h&b items and a few other things, totally miscalculated my bogof figure and decided in my office suit to race up to the h&b aisle grab some shampoo and dash back to the self-scanner (challenge Welshy this was - all I need was the anneka rice jumpsuit). Then the vouchers kept asking for authorisation. I sweetly stated that they were points vouchers and he kept authorising them.
second transaction, again a miscalculation so darted off again much to a bemused look from the supervisor again. This time he authorised my vouchers from his station and let me use everything.
So today I gained 500 points which I was pleased about and not too much grief in doing so.
Off tomorrow to spend my tesco MFI vouchers - I have saved £1500 from previous quarters and should all being well, get 2 free power showers with my bathroom purchases.

I had another sucessful shopping trip today and I thought that I should share my good fortune so that some of you may get the same (if you so desire!).
I bought:
2 x pump toothpaste@ 2 for £3
2 x reduced roll on deoderant @ 29p
6 x toothbrushes @ £2.39
1 x reduced roll on deoderant @ 38p
2 x shower gel @ £1.48
1 x fructis hair gum @ reduced £1.87 TOTAL = £23.89
- BOGOF £8.65, 2 x 40p toothpaste vouchers, -0.76 off 2 for £3 toothpaste, 2 x £2.50, 4 x £1.00, 8 x £1.25 = £29.21
£29.21 - £23.89 = Total discount of £5.32 + 550 points
This has got to be another one that I will keep in my little shopping list book to be revived again very soon!!! LOL!!!
I did another separate shop and also got
4 x kids vitamins @ £3.34 = £13.36
BOGOF = £6.68, 1 x £2 off, 3 x £1 off + 6 x 60 points
All I had to pay was £1.68 but I landed an extra 300 points for the pleasure!!!!!!! happens!!!:D0 -

Hi, I've got bunch of spare Health and Beauty leaflets, although I've used the 50 points. I'd like to offer them out whilst there is still plenty of time to use them. It would be great to get a few manufacturers coupons in return swaps but not essential.
You can either send me an SAE and I'll post you 5 sets of leaflets (minus the points) or
if you'd like to do any swaps I can send you 15 sets. I hope this seems fair.
Please PM me and I'll respond this evening when I'm back from work0 -

Have been using these vouchers when I can get them but I'm confused about the 6 x 60 points. If you mean the 50 points ones - can you use these on healthcare? I thought it was just on toiletries and I've got none left to check. Thanks. If I had known then what I know now . . .

Your right the vouchers do say "50 points when you spend £2.00 or more on Beauty or Toiletries" but I said to the girl who authorises the vouchers when the till pings and she credited the extra vouchers!!! Oooops! I had better not push the point the next time!
Angela!!!!!! happens!!!:D0 -
Well, I popped in today to get a few bits and pieces, including sensodyne toothpaste, which my dentist recommended after a trip to see him this morning! urgh.
I asked the SA how many coupons I could use " As many as you like, as long as you've bought the products"
Cool I thought, so I got:
2x imperial leather, 2x carex handwash, 2x aqua fresh mouthwash and 1 sensodyne.
Total after BOGOFs came to: £8.32
I used: 4x £1.25 2 x £1.00 and 1x £2.50 = £9.50 off! Also used a listerine voucher to bring my shopping down even further. He refused the 30p bread one though, which was odd, but what a saving, so who cares! LOL.
No more h&b vouchers to be seen at all. Forgot to ask for a healthcare bag from the pharmacy, as I wanted to give it to one of the tenants, nevermind.
Great day! I have enough for one more £10 combination, so will wait until deals change."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
