Tesco H&B vouchers

hoo....bloody....rah!! Finally..some H&B coupons in my store.
Let the games commence!
Well done Welshy, I'm very envious, already had two extensions in the house we've lived in for 30years and contemplating another. Would love to move out while its done though.Saving money right, left and centre0 -
Thanks guys - very pleased today. I think the one thing to do when trying to get a discount at MFI is to not mention tesco clubcard vouchers etc until the last moment when payment is required. Delivery isn't until end of March which is great as hopefully I will have somewhere to store my items then.
Next thing on my shopping list at MFI is the kitchen - I wanted the space burgundy - Mr welshy hates it and I think if I go for it, he'd constantly mutter about it ! so will have to look at alternatives.
Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Total after BOGOFs came to: £8.32
I used: 4x £1.25 2 x £1.00 and 1x £2.50 = £9.50 off! Also used a listerine voucher to bring my shopping down even further. He refused the 30p bread one though, which was odd, but what a saving, so who cares! LOL.

You say you used 4x 1.25. Did you use more than 1 of the same voucher?
I didn't think this was allowed. Can someone clarify this? ta0 -
Does anyone know if both the QK and H&B healthcare ones work on nicotine patches? Hubby is just about to go for some and I said he can't go without vouchers!!
TIA
Sarah

Thrifty_Boots wrote:Hi, I've got bunch of spare Health and Beauty leaflets, although I've used the 50 points. I'd like to offer them out whilst there is still plenty of time to use them. It would be great to get a few manufacturers coupons in return swaps but not essential.
You can either send me an SAE and I'll post you 5 sets of leaflets (minus the points) or
if you'd like to do any swaps I can send you 15 sets. I hope this seems fair.
Please PM me and I'll respond this evening when I'm back from work
I still have some left if anyone else is interested.0 -

As usual welshy you are completely right. I managed to get £100 off a spend of £1200 by playing hardball. The other thing to consider is that most sales people will get more comission on the warranties etc on an appliance than selling the actual appliance. I negotiated by saying I would take the warranties if he discounteed the cost (& more) off the price. He knew exactly what I was doing.
His face was a picture when I handed him the tesco vouchers though!!!!Personally I felt like i was paying in shower gel and shampoo! I had a little day dream of the salesman surrounded by herbal essences and l'oreal elvive (i have a thing for shampoo, my family are sick of it though)
Anyway back to the thread, can I please say thanks to those who have sent me coupons, (vandanfc i got them this morning thankyou) off to tesco's in a min to get a fix!!!Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

DrJ wrote:For those who cannot find any H&B vouchers at the Altrincham Extra - I may have solved the mystery as on my hunt this morning I caught one of the pharmacy technicians/perfume girls ripping them out of the leaflets !!
I asked her if I could have one and she looked rather shocked but quickly handed one over. I sneaked another a few minutes later and found it was missing one of the coupons ! - Maybe she runs an ebay business on the side !
I usually go to this one and the always have the coupons ripped out of the leaflets and in nice little piles on the pharmacy counter! maybe she was getting them ready???:rotfl:Best Threads -

Hi
Did you use all these vouchers in one transaction or did you split them? I thought you can only use one of the same voucher per transaction?0
