I am still plodding on slowly to my 3000 points. The latest email from The Mutual regarding PriceRunner not tracking is reproduced below to assist anyone else with tracking issues:

I have just done this to the letter and carried out five searches for items on their approved list. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating as my dear old dad used to say. I await if anything starts to track.

It is now some 3 weeks later and nothing has tracked. I have sent another email off!

Did anyone get the email yesterday offering 7500 mutualpoints for depositing $10 to The Poker League? usually such an offer is discussed on Moneysavingexpert but I can't find anything mentioned anywhere. Has anyone done this offer? 7500 is £50 cashback!
  • Perhaps no one wants to risk such an offer when their tracking is so poor? I know I wouldn't!

I'm also having the PriceRunner problem. 5 clicks per day and not a sausage tracking, what a waste of time. I'm emailing them now too - maybe if enough people complain they'll realise it's their site and not what we're doing. I've tried three browsers, I clear my cookies and flash cookies, I turn my router off to get different IP addresses - nothing. It's definitely a problem at their end as I used to get it to track sporadically before but have had nothing for a month.

My thoughts exactly, it seems to good to be true, espically with all the hassle were all having with Mutual Points, 12 months ago would have jumped at the offer, but not now.

It doesn't seem to be tracking my daily clicks, so just plodding along with the email clicks, they seem to be adding, but whether its a different story when I get to 3000 points, I don't know.
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

I think it's near impossible to check if you've received the price runner points or not as tracking is not shown on the site. Points seem to be added weeks after clicking so the recent 5 clicks per day will show up later. I usually get a large amount suddenly added to my account. I received the Poker offer email again yesterday, still can't understand why it's not being discussed on here properly. It's £50 cashback (vouchers) for approx £7 outlay. If ever I've had problems with non receipt of points I make a query and send the proof emails and points are then added. There's another casino offer today too, 12000 for £20 outlay (£40 in vouchers back), they're offering an extra 8000 points if 100 people register but I somehow don't think they'd be honest with that one!!

I was told by MutualPoints that the points are added 21 days after you did the clicks, so if you do e.g. 5 x PriceRunner, 2 x Kelkoo and 2 x The High Street Web on August 1st, they should all show up on your account on August 22nd. Whether this is true or not, I don't know, but this is what I'm basing my missing points on.

Either way, if I look at my account, I don't have more than a handful of PriceRunner clicks tracking since I opened my account. That's definitely not 5 a day tracking!

I'm getting really fed up with MutualPoints anyway. Turned out my partner was having exactly the same problem on his account, so we both emailed. We both said exactly the same thing - PriceRunner's not tracking, it's nothing to do with how we do the clicks. He gets a reply apologising and adding a crapload of points to his account. Me? I get a patronising email telling me that "we know for a fact that our website works through our own tests and because no other members are experiencing problems" and telling me how to clear out the cookies on a browser I don't even use. Poor stupid little woman, doesn't know how to use a computer, but when the man emails them, he must know what he's doing so the problem must be the website after all. I think I'm going to change the name on my account to a man's name and see if that gets me anywhere

I can't believe the cheek of their email lying like that either, that no other members have had problems. They obviously think I'm stupid if they think I don't know someone else in my own house has emailed them about the same problem.

If you are using the same internet cconnection then pricerunner and so on will see you as doing double the amount of clicks/searchs and so if your partner is doing it before you hes getting the points and your not. Best thing is yo uplug your modem and get a new IP address when you turn it on again.

That's what we already do, as mentioned above. Thanks for the advice though. Unfortunately nothing either of us do works. My partner isn't getting points either - he only got them added by complaining, but they haven't started tracking since he complained.

It doesn't even track when I do it from my parents' house so it's not just our computers or browsers or the IP addresses that we get from our ISP. I've even tried turning the router off between each of the 5 searches. Nothing works. There is absolutely no reason why PriceRunner won't track, unless they can block specific accounts on certain cashback sites.

Strangely enough, I can get PriceRunner to track just fine on other cashback sites. That just makes me think even more that the problem lies with MutualPoints and not with me!

that might be it, I do it in TCB and it fails to track in the others. I am too lazy to turn off my router :D You will need a different IP for each separate cashback site you do it on.

  • That's what I do. I just give up with it - I think MutualPoints just hate us! I'm going to email them again but I don't think it's going to get anywhere.
