I'm thinking of joining Mutual Points. However the recent posts don't seem to be very encouraging. Is this site okay? And have any of you registered your cards for shopping in the high street? Is that secure?

The reason why I'm asking is that so far I've only registered with survey companies such as Valued Opinions and I'm not so happy with them anymore and looking for something new to be excited about. :)

Hmmm, Marvin, you're very defensive of them -you wouldn't be the ubiquitous 'Gemma' in their supposed customer services, would you?!

I'd need a sex change first!

I have been around here a long time check me out, and as I have stated before I am a shareholder in PRO (like many round here got free shares and took the opportunity last year when the shares were on a dip too top up and now hold many more as part of an investment stratagy).

As it goes I am not happy with their customer service either over this issue I think they could have handled it much better. If its any help one of their other businesses, of which I am also a customer, is having the similar problems and this is with bank transfers not cheques.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

Ok well i've been a member for maybe 4-5 years now, never had a problem until last December when I tried to redeem my points - £45 worth in total and when I contacted them in Jan they said that they were having problems with their payment system - but still havent received anything, also interestingly enough I dont seem to be getting the emails where I can claim 5 points anymore, not a happy bunny as been a loyal member for years, and from reading these threads would suspect they are having more than payment system problems, dont think they've got any cash.

Who else is having issues ?

I am receiving them and as has been stated on here already they did stop but I reset them within the account (even though it said they were set to be sent they were not being received) and they started again. I think (not certain) this may be a bounce thing, if mails bounce as undelivered they stop delivering too you (google operate a similar system for the groups). You may not even notice your mail server is bouncing things as its something sorted by the mail server operators and they are not likely to tell you about it.

As I said if you want to check out the reported cash position of the company research the accounts posted online via things like investigate.co.uk and yes I am defensive bad news and misinformation is bad for the share price and i'm a share holder which is bad for me.

I stopped receiving the 5 points emails aswell a while back, I sent customer services a message about it and they dealt with it very quickly (same day I think), they said they were bouncing back (as marvin mentioned), I receive them ok now, not that there are that many that you just click on for 5 points but better than none.

Is anyone getting a response from customer service at all. I have sent two emails in more than a week, to which no response. I am trying to find out why the cashout request I made on the 19th Feb is still outstanding.

I can see from here many are having issues, I previously never had an issue until now. This is the first time I have had a problem with trying to cashout.

21 days is what they say, anyone recently had success of getting their money within that time. Let alone a response from customer services.

It is a shame, as this was once a really good site, but all the reports from others here, suggests they are struggling and makes me wonder if I will ever see my money

When these payment problems started towards the end of last year, I took the option they offered in January of an Amazon code. This came through in February without any problem. As the payment problems are continuing, must say I am really glad I took their offer.
