Right there are three Tesco's in a line with Bullwell being the first, nothing there. Then I asked them to direct me to the next Tesco. It was ten mins away but was before you get to the homeware tesco (I never did find that one!) So its the Tesco inbetween those two stores. Sorry my plan was just to get directed!

By the way, in the next Tesco in the line (the one with the escalator facing as soon as you walk in, there is a TomTom XL downstairs on the seasonal isle. I read on the thread that this model is also reduced. It is in one of those security boxes and on the box it says reduced to £100. I thought it would be cheaper than that so I asked a lady to scan it but it didn't scan so she called a supervisor who said it was £100. I think if they find the correct barcode then it will scan at much less.

hmmm now you've really confused me....depends which end of nottingham you're coming from....but there aren't 3 in a line (or even roughly) on a map! if you were at the bulwell one, I'm assuming the next one you went to was top valley? Does it say the store address or anything on your receipt? Didnt really want to trek all the way to that one as I live completely other end of notts...but if thats the only one that has them then i might do!!
Was the carpark kind of underground or open air? And were there other shops around ie subway? These are all clues that will help me work out which store you went to!!

congrats on all your great finds everyone does anyone no if there are any cheap cameras or breadmakers at thetford or wisbech stores or ne where in east anglia jst its a bit of a drive for me and jst wanted to no if it b worth while before i waste loads of petrol for nothing. searched all the Mr T's nr me with no luck so far really want these as xmas pressie money tight this yr as usual

Mine were priced up on the shelf and also the staff helped me by looking in the store room for anything else there might be.

I've asked my mother who went with me and we both think it was called Top Valley. No it wasn't underground... thats Bullwell?

There is a petrol station at the bottom and you go up a bit of a hill and swirl around to the store. There are other shops in a square and the electrical section is downstairs and the electrical desk actually says click and collect and is next to a big phone shop section.

The receipt just says Nottingham Extra. I don't think they will have anymore to be honest because after my purchase there were a few staff talking to me saying that they didn't know it scanned at that and they would have had one so I think you won't have any luck sorry.

So that info is for the shop I was lucky in. The store where I found the Tomtom XL is the one I mentioned earlier with the escalator just as you walked in. However its on the seasonal isle and encased in one of those clear security boxes. It does not have its own cardboard box, it is just the sat nav and wires loose in the box. I think without the barcode then they won't reduce it and of course the barcode would be on the box. You need to read back and make sure the XL version is reduced. I don't want you making a wasted journey.

hi first time ive been on this thread, went to tesco & looking for a new iron, one reduced from £25 down to £19 picked it up when i got to the till it was down to £8 bargain, it was breville pinky/purple colour 2200w power... was well chuffed when got it for £8 but its nothing compared to what some people have got, this was at the store in Hucknall & there was 2 left if it helps anyone, but the women behind the till said this is £8 now is there any left? im on my break soon... so not sure if she managed to get one or not.. but worth a look..


plus keep receipt for a 1 year guarentee!!

just managed to get 2 x technika twin dvd players (one for us and one for sister in law) also 3 x sony headphones in green ,orange and bronze,plenty left and now marked at £5, there were also about 8 photo frames left this was in l3ic3st3r hth someone.
