• Oh My! I have just returned from my small local Tesco with some JVC Earphones, (£1.53), Braun Silk-epil 3 (£4.50) and two Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptops @ £99.00 each! So chuffed! The Lady also told me to call back if I wanted Memory Cards / Sticks, as they had trays full at silly prices...pence rather than pounds.
This was in L££ds.

Oooo which store in L££ds please (I'd almost given up on finding anything)?
• Think there was another MSEr in H@mpt@n today as he had a 32" Technika in his trolley and was looking at a list on his phone (and looking very sheepish about it)! He was then looking at the Honey Shreddies (which have coincidentally been restocked now theyre back to full price!

Hmm not been a good one for me, however it depends what you are looking for. I didn't look at the toys, camera's or food processors etc. Lol that doesn't really help then if these are what you are after!

I was hoping to get anything that could be used as raffle prizes for the winter fair at school(i run the fundraising events). I have 30 prizes to try to get donated and it gets harder every year, so figured i could donate a couple myself at silly prices. Would also like a cheap laptop for my son who started senior school as a lot of his homeowrk is computer based which is a nightmare.....whats wrong with pen and paper like we used to have :)

• Just checked out the 2 in Stevenag3.

Town centre one - rubbish!! Nothing good at all. Asked SA on electricals and she said they haven't had the same stuff in as other stores and they may get deliveries. Not sure whether to believe this.

Broadwater store, I saw:
indoor tv aerial 51p
Universal MDF TV stand £1
Metal/glass tv stand £4 something
Lotso Huggin Bear £19
Zhu Zhu armour 80p
Lego box (big pink one) £12.50

Generally they had loads more reduced things. Their phone section had over 50% reductions (but still not cheap enough for me). Heard some SA's in the toy aisle talking about how far they had got with checking prices of toys - they sound pretty efficient - talking about checking what's reduced and moving them to the end of the aisle.

• Oh my gosh I have to tell you this. I've just had a call from my credit card company........fraud prevention! It has flagged up on their system that my card has been used in up to eight Tesco's in the midlands everyday for the last week! They asked me to confirm this was me......... and I felt so silly I was apologising!!

I told him about all the bargains and we ended up having a laugh about it. He said that they are really busy at the moment as there is a lot of unusual activity going on with lots of people but a lot of scammers work by spending lots of smaller amounts in rapid succession so as not to get found out..... I have the spending habits of a scammer:rotfl:

I would love a sewing machine if anyone has one. I have been all over and still can't get one, been looking for well over a week now :D

Look up!:)

I found mine on an end near the tills but on the very top shelf in the food section.

A very nice family helped me find Zhu Zhu hamsters yesterday & they were on the top shelf - no good for someone like me who needs a ladder for the kitchen cupboards..... now thats an idea not looked at the DIY aisle then I could go equipped:rotfl:

Just a quick note to those who have phoned T's and asked them to search for an item on their system!
I phoned about 6 different T's on Monday after phoning the CS and asking them to check the system to tell where an item is stocked! They couldn't find the Lumie Bodyclock in any of the stores, the lady I spoke to asked me if it was a discounted item and I told her it was, she then explained that discounted/discontinued items don't show on the main system and it's a case of phoning each store and asking them to check their individual system!
