Am loving reading about all the bargains and the nice people that are getting things for others! I managed to get one of these today for the tiny sum of £4.50, have been wanting one for a couple of years and this was too good to miss. I am still hopeful of finding a netbook for my DS in the West Midlands somewhere.;)

I know, me too, kinda restores your faith in human nature and gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside! To me, seeing people do that, feels as good as getting a bargain myself. Glad to hear you got something you really wanted. Hope you get your netbook, still hoping for a few items myself.
    :) Be nice - it's free! :)

  • Bit late coming in on this thread - been concentrating on the toys. Just about to go to the post office with parcels for fellow MSEers:D

I am desperate for a quad pack of cordless telephones, or a triple pack. If anyone has one, I would be more than happy to pay costs & P&P, or I could part ex for some Kung Zhu stuff, or Iggle piggle lol.

Or if someone could point me in the right direction for the phones (make model, barcode), that would be fab!
  • Woo good news everybody!! Just got back from tesco extra in H*ckn*ll Notts, just came back the proud owner of a 40p iron :) There were about 16ish left when I went, as well as lots of tesco basics kettles, hand blenders and deep fat fryers!

Also there where about 10 boxed Canon Ixus 105 in the tech dept, SEL read £149 I think, going from someones list these are scanning at £50? As I don't need a new camera and I didn't have the guts to grab an employee, I can't confirm that these defo scan at that price, but they certainly looked like the ones people had been talking about!!

Other than that, there where no obvious biggy reductions, but speaking to one SA she did say I should have been there at the weekend (which I was but hadn't read the thread properly - doh!) as they had tons of straighteners, bodyclocks etc going at rock bottom prices, but as she had been off as well she had missed them all!!

So sad I'm so excited about my iron...:D
Comping since 08 - Back again for 2020!
