Tesco's Rai^ham and Galli*ns Reach had nothing today....manager was very unhelpful, overheard another Mse'r asking about laptops and again staff seemed none the wiser.

The epilators/shavers/tom toms all scanned at full price. However, a cashier was pretty honest and said "a manager from another store called us yesterday and let us know, so we just cleared it all out".

I didnt know whether to be pleased for her honesty, or annoyed at the audacity.

They even had someone taking all the pink parazone bleach off display, so not a single bargain for me this week:o

Went to lee valley again today but no bargains at all got the electric blanket double scanned but it was 15pounds lefft empty handed again.
  • Laptop for 1p!!!! unfortunately the smug get who served me told manager who said he couldnt sell it at all. It was faulty!! BS.

Worth a H/O email? - of course it wasn't faulty but you could have said you have a faulty one already and want it for parts.

As hard as it will be, Im not going to bother going again. Well done to all those who got a bargain, but I come on this site to help me save money and instead I keep getting tempted to buy things I dont really need hahaha:rotfl::rotfl:

The most frustrating thing about Galli0ns reach branch was that I couldnt understand why the cupcake maker/george foreman grills/black and decker sander/kettles/toasters etc were all together when they wouldnt normally be, but scanned full price??!! I wonder if staff can override head office pricing?

In terms of toys, they had shelves and shelves of Fisher Price toys, the most expensive being £2, I have never heard such a large group of excited mums!. There was a members of staff with a hand scanner just stood ih the toy dept with people coming up to her getting her to scan things!!

Hurrah, I finally got an iron! Given that I hate ironing, I am quite ridiculously pleased.

The SEL said £14 and it scanned at £14 but it was RTC down from £40, so I'm happy.

    It's a Breville 2400W Model VIN177 in green.

A lot of the Breville stuff had stars on the SEL (which apparently means dicontinued) so I wonder if there willl be further reductions on some of that in the future, as they try to clear out more to make room for the Christmas stock.

I scanned a few of the things in the clearance area, (an ipod dock thingy and a Sony e-reader), on the off chance but everything scanned as per the price on the SEL and there were no amazing bargains.

    May contain nuts
