TESCO Silly Price Electrical Items

I've been trying for a laptop, a camera and those Babyliss straighteners. No luck though.:( I've tried again yesterday and today covering most of the Extras in the Glasgow and Lanarkshire areas. (W15h4w, B3ll5h1ll, C04tbr1dg3, 5h3ttl3st0n, m4ryh1ll)

I've seen several of the Bablyliss pro 215 straighteners but they are scanning at £17 something. Same story with the Fujifilm Finepix Z90 camera - still coming up at £69.95 despite several people in this thread reporting getting them for £15!

I'm now at the stage where I just go up to the electrical desk SA and ask point blank if there are any end of line discounted laptops lurking in the storeroom. A couple have told me that they did have them but they've all gone now - and then continued chatting about the fab bargains they managed to bag for themselves!! Laptops, camcorders, etc...

I keep trying hoping that one of these days I'll be in the right place at the right time as I would love to be able to get both my teenagers a laptop and the only way I'll be able to do this is if at least one of them is at a bargain price! I've now come to the conclusion that it is not meant to be. :cool:

omg found my first proper bargin today :j a philips 6900 wired shaver for £3.80 barcode number 8710103408505 this was at my local store a*dover was only one on the shelf its in a orange box and a blue shaver. i did notice some of the tesco straightners for £1odd in there (pink box) there was 4 there if that helps anyone i`m really after an epilator or sewing machine of anyone knows of any local i took a few other things to the pharmacy to scan but no other items cheap also not had any luck toys wise at this store the self scanners look like they are turned on but dont work grrrrrrrrrrrr have been like that for weeks!

Managed to get 1st item from list today
Stainless steel fryer model number DFPS08
However box looked a bit bashed and when I got home there were no instructions. So I dont know if all parts are there or how to use it etc. Cant just guess how much oil as it could be dangerous.
Dont suppose anyone could pm me the instructions by any chance. Would be great if I could use my new bargain.

1 Baby Monitor left at Tesco R0b0r0ugh today at 1700. It's in a yellow clearance cage to the left of the Pharmacy.

Tesco's Rai^ham and Galli*ns Reach had nothing today....manager was very unhelpful, overheard another Mse'r asking about laptops and again staff seemed none the wiser.

The epilators/shavers/tom toms all scanned at full price. However, a cashier was pretty honest and said "a manager from another store called us yesterday and let us know, so we just cleared it all out".

I didnt know whether to be pleased for her honesty, or annoyed at the audacity.

They even had someone taking all the pink parazone bleach off display, so not a single bargain for me this week:o

Hi was hanover st inwent to had scanners working on top floor, I scanned a DVD, toaster but came full price , tried a zhu zhu hamster came up £9.49 think it was not reduced.
On back wall saw kettle but had no more ,
They put stuff out all the time though so just because had nothing doesn't mean may not get any
