:hello:Was nice talking to you, the Sensations didn't go through on the glitch -boo! & this was after I gave a packet back to the SA as they were dated EXP 3/9/2011! - I have instructions for the fryer if you need them as I have that fryer.
Thanks to the young family who helped me out with the Zhu Zhu hamsters - I hope you have a lovely Christmas.

All in all a nice social trip to the supermarket with MSE friends.:rotfl:
    I did go a little mad though & visted 4 other W*st Y*rkshire stores.

Desperate for a kettle but had to settle for a Breville at £14, got an ipod dock/radio/speaker thing for £17 = marked at £35
2 i pod travel speakers marked at £9 went through at £2.
Thomas Take & play marked at £16 paid £4.00 - however I have seen the SEL saying £4 since.
Vivitar battery charger AC/DC with 4 batteries £2.04.
    Sony MDR headphones £4
    AND the Body Clock £10
    - Just missing the cuddly toy!.............

Hi Again, I was rubbish with the sensations wasnt I. Will check my sell by dates though thanks. Bateries did not glitch either and even the juice was the wrong one. The one mentioned on here was a 9 variety pack for £1.09. Having said that I was v happy with the fryer until I realised there were no instructions so for all I know bits could be missing as it had obviously been opened as box was a bit torn. Someting does not look right about it. BillyM I would love a copy of the instructions as I would not dare use it without. My striped glasses were a success though. Glad you got some bargains too, you certainly put the work in;)
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

Oh bless you Nikkilala. It was this afternoon that it was mentioned so I bet they are long gone now. I don't expect you to get one for me but I hope you get one as I know you have been as busy as me lol.

I'm just looking on ebay but they are going for £50 :-(

I was thinking of trying Birmingham way but its over an hour away and there seem to be a lot of Brummies MSE'ers so I think it would be a wasted journey.

Nothing at all over here - I've been trying for days. :(

I hope she gets one, she is as crazy as me doing six hour shifts everyday to different Tesco's!

Today is my first 'day off' from searching and I actually felt tired during the day. I think its the adrenalin you run on when you find a bargain!

I think I may have to get the map out and see if I can widen my search.:D

Thanks for that elysia. I think the best places are probably not the big stores this late in the game. Everyone heads for the largest stores so they have the least goodies. I was in a large store in Le!cester on Sunday (i've been in nearly everyday lol) and there was a queue at the self scanner!

been to 3in N8ttingh8m today...got a few toys....and a kind lady in photography dept scanned virtually everything in the store for me!!! Everything went through at the 'correct'price ie the marked down price or SEL......except I found the Philips 'wake me up' clocks....like lumie lamps but Philips version...original Tesco price £60...yellow SEL on at £35...scanned at £5......woop woop!!! I bought two and left one on the shelf ....but a little old employee came along saying he'd had no bargains and the others had got cameras etc...so even though he didnt know what it was...he went off with it!!!!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
  • I have been in almost every tesco in and surrounding edinburgh and fife - I was desperate for laptops or camera as these are top of my girls xmas list but they didnt have anything reduced!! :(

I got a Vivitar camera @ the Fort for a tenner last week.

whoops....just realised...in the B**ston N8ttingh8m store, looking at netbooks/laptops and saw a chap tell his girlfriend...'that ones 99 quid'...waited til he turned away and I pinched one of the white SELs to scan...it has 2 barcodes on the back (one for red,one for black) scanned both and one came up as £219...the other as £99....(cant remember which colour did what!)....had a sneaky look round the corner and saw the chap saying to girl he was waiting for them to find it.....but then 2 mins later saw them walking away empty handed.....??
Didnt have the brain capacity then to ask the staff if I could have it..or the display one....I'm kicking myself now!!!
anyways.....i kept the white SEL thing in my purse so the details from it are below if anyone fancies their chances!!!

    DELL mini 1018 10.1" netbook - black/red....hard drive 250gb...memory 1gb...webcam etc
    barcode black - 5 397063 022502 online number 210-1664
    barcode red - 5 397063 041152 online number 211-6059

hth someone...if not...i might be going back for it tomorow!!!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
  • In Belfast Kn*ckn@g*n-y Tesco Extra tonight and they had two of the Braun Series-3 330 Men's Shavers.

    RRP is £89.99
    SEL instore £44.99

    Scans at £15

Here it is on Tesco Direct at £44.99

    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.211-5463.aspx

I needed a new shaver so I was over the moon to get one of these! Hopefully the other one is still there for anyone who might need it from here.

Scanned all the other Braun and Philips shavers and they all scanned at their shelf prices.
