Looby I've never heard of these Philips 'wake me up' i'm off to research them!

Have you ever been to the big Netherfields store? Its in Notts and is supposed to be non foods only? I was thinking of giving that a try but as its a big non foods I imagine that it was cleared of its goodies very early on in the sale! I think its just over an hour away from me if the sat nav is accurate.

they look pretty cool....nice present for my mum anyway!

yep been to the N*therf*eld store a few times....its not that big but doesnt stock food....but has an upstairs too so has slightly more stock than a few others round here.....staff dont seem as friendly though....and last time I went they only had self scan checkouts...and customer services is upstairs...bit of a mare when you've been in there an hour with 2 toddlers...then have to trek upstairs again for DTD!!! but hey ho!!!...theres a Next,ArgosMcDonalds and B&Q (i think) there too....
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
  • Im still looking for the £24 twin DVD players, has anyone seen them recently?

Yes i found them yesterday, It's the only thing I wanted, so I was grinning from ear to ear, but they scanned at full price. :(

In fact everything in that store scanned at full price, nd the store after that and the store after that.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

  • Well done you!!

NOW that gives me hope if I should ever want anything nikkilala, after all the negatives on this site about people being greedy and buying to sell on ebay aswell as fraud, its nice on this scale - not just passing on the info but also actually getting the deal for someone who really wants it.

There was one in the clearance section of the Tesco I was in today. SEL said £99. It scanned at £99. It went back on the shelf!

I've had no luck. I've found a RTC iron for £14, which I needed and a Bodyclock for £10 which I didn't need but have offered to someone else on here. I'd like to find a Kenwood hand blender and a slow cooker, personally, and I'd have absolutely loved a Canon Ixus camera. I think the bargains are getting few and far between now though.

    May contain nuts

I know that feeling! But don't you feel like you've stolen something? I go bright red and feel like everyone's watching me. Then I get outside and just grin! Honestly I could never be a thief, I would just start hyperventilating and turn into a jelly!

I went to the self service checkout the other day with hubby and I had four items in my basket, got outside and checked my receipt... only paid for three! I honestly expected to get arrested. I went back in and showed them my receipt and gave them 15p. (it was some reduced herbs)

Karma is a good thing but its so blooming exacting!!
