People could be banned from stores for a number of reasons, perhaps because they scan loads of items and don't put them back etc.
For you to jump on the discrimination bandwagon is foolhardy and quite frankly, offensive to those who have suffered true discrimination...
I think it is offensive to classify discrimination as only one type and ignore other types as 'untrue', shame on you... read the law for instances of TRUE discrimination and don't be selfish and spoiled.
Sure you can be banned with good reason, and it better be real good, not just because you are a bargain hunter who likes to scan items etc .
We have seen how Tesco staff behave when it comes to bargains, i dont put it past them to ban customers who bargain hunt a lot, so staff can get the items ...0 -

Well done to all of you on your amazing finds! I have been driving round all the stores hunting and hunting but with no luck :-( booo... Anyone had any luck in the N@rwich area? I'm probably just a bit rubbish. I did find some items that were on the lists, specific model no's etc carefully checked but everything was full price when checked. Also found some with the asterisks and tried a couple of those too with no luck either.
Was mainly looking for a laptop or netbook for the children (teens) a mans shaver and a Lumie Clock. I just can't believe I have spent days trying and the only bargain I had was a pack if 4 Bostick glue sticks for 20p! Lol! :-)0 -
for £, why don't u just hold the alt key & type 0163 ?

2 canon ixus 105 cameras under the batteries in littlehampton tesco scanning at £50 which is reasonable but not amazing, but good for the money0 -
Any will be ok. You can't exactly be choosy anyway if you're wanting one for £100 or less.
A netbook is a smaller, more portable, but slower laptop, with no CD/DVD drive (although you can purchase external ones).
I'm afraid that's wrong, only because you misread hogshead's question.
They asked about a notebook not a netbook.
To Hogshead, a 'notebook' is just a particular brands own name for a laptop.
The 'netbook' description is correct.0 -

Who's being nasty?
The OP sounds to me like they're genuinely trying to help people who've found themselves banned from Tescos for no real reason.:grinheart “Truly Great Madness Cannot Be Achieved Without Significant Intelligence.”:grinheart0 -
Just back from Kn@cknag@ney, another madcap scanning spree - nothing in the toy department, the Babyliss set I got yesterday scanned at £14.99 and the men's razors and epilators were all full price too. My friend managed to get the last Breville iron at £4 and I got two Tescos 1600 irons for 71p each. One for myself and the other for a Christmas pressie. Madly wracking brains as to where there are other 'big' Tescos in the greater Belfast area, Newtownabbey and Newtownbreda haven't any price checkers, any ideas?Total debt £20,000 Northern Rock loan:eek:
Debt free date April 2016!!!!:eek:0 -

I saw these in my local but I believe they are powered by 2 x AA batteries rather than the now more common lithium rechargeable battery. Makes a huge difference.0
