  • Wrong Tesco cannot ban people willy nilly! in this country we have anti discrimination laws .
You can sue Tesco and probably obtain compensation (on merit).
Tesco will have to prove that it acted reasonably in banning you, and that is not as easy as it may sound.

By 'public' I guess you mean open to the general public, in such cases it is even easier to prove discrimination.

Go to advicenow.org.uk search for discrimination by shops.
    cheers

I'm sorry but I disagree. Do you actually know anything about anti-discrimination law?

I am thrilled that you disagree, you are sorry and so should you be.
I noted your reasons for your disagreement; which are: Nada, nothing. :)
I guess it says a lot about you...

Looking past the complete ignorance and arrogance, I did give a link where you can go and get advice/read on this matter, so your disagreement with me is immaterial.

People usually associate anti-discrimination laws with race, religion, gender discrimination, actually it applies much wider to include profiling etc
In a nutshell, you cannot be discriminated against unfairly in the provision of goods, services, or employement etc , that's my take on it and i think the quoted resource backs me up.

    Take it or leave it.

Yes 2, one in clothing, one in wine & spirits.
  • Hi I'm so happy for people getting their bargains, well done to you all. I'd love a laptop/netbook for the kids, has anyone seen any electrical bargains in the Slough/Maidenhead/Reading/Bracknell area ? (most posts seem to be from people more North). Thanks in Advance !
  • I got a different laptop last night, it is the HP G56-106EA

People could be banned from stores for a number of reasons, perhaps because they scan loads of items and don't put them back etc.

For you to jump on the discrimination bandwagon is foolhardy and quite frankly, offensive to those who have suffered true discrimination...
  • oh give it up with the nasty, this is about bargains not whos right or wrong.
