  • I went to my local store (glasgow) this morning, found a disgruntled crowd of (i assume) msers waiting on a big price drop, apparently they had been there since 5.30 (staff told me) when i asked the disgruntled lot was there bargains to be had they literally growled at me, how !!!!!!! rude!!

anyway, i couldnt be bothered standing about while they growled in my direction so i went on with my shopping , red grapes in a box marked £1.97 or 2 for £3 were actually only £1 each and maris piper marked at £1.74 were 94p

i posted this accidently on the toy thread:o

  • Hi first post newbie here lol. Popped dwn the y@rco xtr@ at 9am found lots of reduced kids outdoor toys like barbie table an chairs £10, a 2 person tent £3 and lots of others. Prob not much left now tho a heard of mothers came in minutes after me and filled there trollys in seconds lol. The problem with this store is no scanners, so I tried a couple samsung blu ray players at customer service no luck, has ne1 else had ne luck in this store? I see a lad who worked in the tech department on sat running out the store with 2 laptops a sony and a toshiba i think, then heard others in the tech dep saying he got them both for £160 with his staff discount, lucky lad.

    Hi all,

Well done on all the bargains!!!! I dragged myself out of bed at 5 this morning and managed to get to T's before it even opened!!!!

    I got:

2x Morphy Richards Brita Water Filter kettles £5 each!!! One for us and one for my dad!! - They were on the end of an aisle on the top shelf away from the other kettles, the tops of the boxes were pretty dusty but they have cleaned up no problems - there was another one but I gave it to another shopper who was bargain hunting - possibly an MSEr!!

1x Lumie Arabica - SAD Lamp - £12 - last one - in the sale aisle

1x Lumie Bodyclock - £10 - last one - in the sale aisle

I also got a hand luggage size suitcase for £2 and a slightly larger one for £2.50!!!

I got the Lumie Bodyclock because I know a couple of people on this thread were after one so if you are happy to pay p&p and give me your details then it's yours!! Just PM me - the first PM gets it but I may not be able to reply until this evening!! If no one is happy to do that then I'm sure I'll find someone to give it to at Christmas!! I just saw it and remembered it was popular on here!!

I'm knackered now but pleased with my bargains!! I could really have done with some speakers and a 4 slice toaster but they are not desperate!! My dad is after a laptop, he's a bit put out because he has lent me the money to buy mine and now there are none left for him!! Hehe!!

I do however need another of the Lumie Arabica - SAD lamps if anyone has got one going spare, pleeeeeeeeeeease!! Hehehe!!

    Well done again guys!!

    Jo
    xx
