Surely this is a guy not knowing his stuff. So you buy a hoover, and they give you another hoover plus say £2 difference. Er.............surely not.

An item at cost price is cheaper for tesco than the cash at retail price, however I can see why customers would not be too happy about certain items!
I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!

Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A
  • seems simple to me, op picked up 2 thinking offer was buy 1 get 1 free( £3.50x2 = £7)
went to customer service and was told that the new offer is buy 1 get 2 free (£3.50x3 =£10.50 - £7 for offer = £3.50) that explains why they would be given a £3.50 refund and an extra pack
  • and the store manager was explaining the new offer onbatterys not the new refund policy!
  • Been into two of my local Tesco stores tonight and both customer service areas had the same double the difference sign that has been there for a while.

My local Tesco staff are delightful and nothing is too much trouble but not a single one of them can do simple arithmetic. DTD? I've had everything from twice to a staggering x8 the difference back before now. I just smile, look vague and wait to see what they'll come up with this time. Great fun.
