So how would this work exactly? If you bought an item and were charged 1p more than the SEL they would give you 1p and another one of the product however much it is?? Surely that will lose them loads! or have I got it wrong? Was this what R and R was?

Something similar happened years back, and you were allowed to keep the product. But not actually be given 2 of the same. Doesn't seem to make sense.

Surely this is a guy not knowing his stuff. So you buy a hoover, and they give you another hoover plus say £2 difference. Er.............surely not.

Hi stebiz, well on one of the other threads someone has actually managed to take a photo of the new terms in stevenage T which were at the end of a till saying that you are refunded and get to retain the item, so something is happening somewhere.

If it works like the old R&R they give you your money back in full and you keep the product, even if you are overcharged by just 1p. HTH
  • R&R was fab much better than DTD :)

Hang on a minute before you all get excited
What exactly dud the blue board say on ghat video I couldn't see it clearly ,
Have I misinterpreted if all , the way I've understood it is you get to keep the product and they refund the difference, that's not r&r
That's a cunning ploy to get rid of DTD
They are just selling you the product at the lower price aren't they?

Would be useful if the OP who has had this experience could email the CEO to clarify things
Ps has price promise board been changed in that store?
