A Warning - CapQuest Debt Recovery!

Just an update with regards to the above. I wrote and informed Capquest of all the facts.

They have replied to say that they have passed the debt to Arrow Global Limited, who apparently own Capquest. They say that the debt is still outstanding.

Do I just ignore the letter. I have wrote a complaint to the financial ombudsman. Used their Online service, because i am so !!!!ed off with them.

Appreciate any advice you can give me. I KNOW this is not my debt, but I hate getting these type of letters.

You have complained to the FOS

You could also complain to their 'professional' body the CSA though they are pretty useless.

Incidentally what has happened to you is called mis-tracing and the CSA say mis-tracing almost never happens. I posted about it somewhere. Shows you what idiots they are.

OK, their actual quote was 'In reality, the number of false positive or mis-traces each year are surprisingly low,'

Thanks to my "lovely" ex-wife, I got lumped with debts her spending couldn't keep up with. That was from 2003! It's now 2019, yet Capquest STILL hounding me! They tried to take me to court for this non-existent debt, yet because they were harassing me, they lost ANY possibility of being legally owed that debt. Yet they STILL hound me! I have changed my mobile phone number FIVE times, yet SOMEONE is still giving them the information. I go out of my way to NOT provide my phone number except for people I DO have a financial link to. My numbers are PRIVATE, registered with the TPS, yet they STILL get my details! This must be breaking the law. The ONLY way to get rid if these parasites, is to make it ILLEGAL to sell a debt. Remember these sc@m pay less than 10% for this debt, yet not only try and demand the FULL "debt" but add on costs! They are worse crooks than muggers, because muggers cannot attack you in your home!

Capquest staff are evil immoral parasites. If ever someone DESERVED to be out of a job - Capquest staff.
