I'm glad the Nationwide figures weren't up otherwise this thread would have just gone on and on.
I had Kangaroo once in Australia (in the ANA tower don't you know) - it tasted like stray dog that had spent a lifetime eating from the bins.0 -

Really? I quite liked kangaroo. "Kanga bangas" were generally good.
I did have possum at some indigenous restaurant somewhere in western Sydney (Newtown?).0 -

I quite like a bit of Kangaroo. I used to get roo steaks from Tesco when I was a student because it would always end up discounted. It's good with Cumberland Sauce.0 -
Interest only I note. How much would a repayment mortgage be?
Initially £647 based on the 3.1% of the interest only mortgage over 25 years . You would have paid off around 18k of capital by now.
Interestingly, £1366 per month on Chelsea's 10 year fixed rate. You would only have five years left to pay until the house was yours.
Looking at it another way, you would have paid £44,800 in rent (I know some people have).0 -
What I cant understand is:
My investment house has risen over 100% in price. My mortgage is next to nothing now and I'm making money.
Why am I supposed to care about prices falling 0.4% in a year???????We love Sarah O Grady0 -

Trend. Akin to standing on a beach and watching the tide come in. Events can overtake before you realise.
No recent news that will influence and reverse the trend that I've read.0 -
