Breathing out, I smile – Bringing ZEN to the life of a DFW

That is it, I want the world to just stop for a while so that I can catch my breath. Who could do this for me?
Too much going on and as I haven't been sleeping enough things are starting to get to me.
However all the arrangements for the weekend has been done (apart from packing and printing out the map), all the emails sent to appropriate parties (including ex - no reply from him as yet).
Also need to start a list for the following weekend, I will need some Swiss Francs and also some Euros (we need to stop in Amsterdam). But all that can be done next Saturday.
I need to go to work early tomorrow and I forgot to tell the breakfast club about it. But they always have spaces in the mornings so I hope it is ok to just turn up. I am going to be so blissfully happy tomorrow for the first hour at work as I am not expecting any interruptions. I don't know if it is just me but I am not coping well if I am not allowed to put my head down and finish a task before I need to divert my focus somewhere else.
I am so exhausted that it really is going to be early to bed tonight. Also I am going to cook some food for myself. It is so easy to just feed DD and only nibble something myself. That is also not so good for the weight loss either (never mind my energy levels) as metabolism slows down and weight loss hits a plateau. So it is salmon and spinach on the menu tonight. Quick, tasty and healthy
(Oh and I have stashed away some yummy dark chocolate, I can have a square when I fancy and one square really is enough because it is so rich)
Tonight I need to do one load of washing and pay couple of bills, tomorrow I need to write letter to BG and pack. Then that is it, everything else can wait until I am back."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Ok BG still not dealt with. I really need to get is sorted before they cut my electricity  (I used to have direct debit with them for years and then when I moved house I was put from the cheapest online tariff to standardt tariff and quarterly bills and now they don't seem to be able to set me up for direct debits again despite having done that for my gas account )
Anyhoo, DD was dispatched to school this morning with birthday party invitations and suitcase. Pump up bed, pump, sleeping bag, pillow, wellies and car seat given to friend. Ex dealt with . I have put all my stuff in a pile so about to pack now, take rubbish out, leave cat food out (my neighbour comes tomorrow to see to her) and head off.

Thanks Aesop, I might be able to relist some stuff on Sunday evening when I get back if it is not too late.
Oh - BG called again, this time automated message. I have logged a complaint through their website. I hope something gets not sorted. Anyway, all is packed, I am off..."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Oooh - I had fantastic time. I was truly pampered and food was amazing. I was very good but did allow myself pudding after lunch on both days. It was so lovely to speak with like minded people that have the same aspirations in life than me. I actually felt quite normal :rotfl:
I am buzzing but also at the same tired and about to fall asleep. So I better head to bed very soon."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

I haven't been posting as have been pretty whacked this week. I had last of the silly o'clock teleseminars on Tuesday morning. I just need to download the recordings. (And also keep up the practise.)
My meditation practise hasn't happened. It has been such a struggle to get out of the bed on time never mind early. I will really give this a go when I come back home after being away next week.
Today when DD was in Beavers I went to Mr S to have a coffee (too blimming cold to wait in the car, I am thinking it would be cheaper to spend the diesel to come home than buy coffee when waiting in the cafe :undecided). So I was continuing reading a book called: Lazy Man's Guide to Enlightment. I do have to admit that most of it goes completely over my headbut one sentence really hit me: "When you learn to love hell, you will be in heaven." I will go deeper into this another time but if anyone would like to comment please feel free.

Hi Marru,
Here goes with post number 2, just lost the other one.
But in a nutshell, I was drawn by the title but did not know it was your diary.
I have been having a quick flick through but will drop back in again and read properly as I am quite tired and not concentrating as well as I should.
I certainly would welcome more Zen in my life and need to declutter etc. I usually have fads on this but need to get it back on track.
But well done on all that you have achieved so far and I look forward to reading in more detail.
So hugs to you and your DD and take care.
