Breathing out, I smile – Bringing ZEN to the life of a DFW

My credit file will clear in 1138 days time. Last year my BF bailed me out and I made FF for all my creditors. They have now all been paid off and I owe shed load of money to BF. Aim is to pay that debt off during next 1138 days so that I can then start with a clean slate.
That was the DFW part of the title. What is that ZEN then all about? I have been living with a black dog for quite awhile. Last summer just when I thought I had managed to rid myself of it there were lots of big changes and despite them mostly being positive ones I got spiralled back. I didn’t go as far as square one because I was able to recognise the signs but I still have very annoying tiredness hanging about which is even more frustrating when there is so much to do.
I have been reading a lot. After reading all the books about depression and not really getting anywhere I started reading all sorts of things from Buddhist writings to study about whole hearted living. I will tell more about these books and what I found from them later in this diary. So that is the ZEN part of the diary. I strongly believe that the things what I have found together with acupuncture treatments are going to give final send off to that shadowy companion.
If you want to know more about the comings and goings of late check out my previous diary HERE. I thought that I am never going to get out being lost in the middle until I can have a positive spin on it, hence the new diary with new title.
I have said that I will be talking about the ZEN things but what are the practical things that are going to take me to that debt free + clean credit file day? This is how I have divided my goals (in no particular order):
- Declutter: getting rid of everything that I don’t need/use/love (sell as much of that as possible)
- Organise: make life simple by having order in it, things in their place and working routines
- Career: my money making power, I am doing ACCA at the moment and also am planning increasing certain IT skills that I know would be very useful if I want my career to progress to the direction that I find most fascinating
- Money: this is about budgets, cash flows etc
- Animals: I love animals and want to pursue working with them as a “side career”
So here we go. I was hoping to have my budget ready but I think that some preparation is needed. That might be good starting point for my next post. Bye for now.

Hi Maru, and I like - it looks like we have been reading the same books. Although my logic was slightly different.
Good luck in all areas you mapped out - and if you need anything just shout.
