Hiya,
Can I join again please? It's just me and my fiance (check me with the novelty!) but he has proper hollow legs.
Put me down for £200 - I've already spent £40 at the Chinese supermarket stocking up on stuff to avoid going to the takeaway and £85 on various supermarket trips to fill up the cupboards and the freezer. So I'm at £125, I desperately want to come in under the £200 - say about £175 as I used to be quite good at the grocery challenge but as I stocked up from Chung Wah, I don't want to beat myself up about it.

I crashed and burned during August, mainly due to school holidays and our own holidays. Too much to keep track of. I didn't go over my total budget, but the lines drawn between the food budget and everything else became very fuzzy. May I be put down for £250 for September please? That should let me stock up a bit for winter as well as feeding us.
Thanks to everyone who runs the grocery challenge0 -
Hi! have tried numerous times to cut down our food budget, without much success due to my lack of willpower when it comes to scrummy treats!:p
Please can you put me down for £350 up to the 29th September? (sorry, don't know how to make it red!):o
this is for 2 adults and three boys, one in nappies, cheers!:beer:Sept. grocery challenge = £500 (221.60 so far!;))0 -

Hi All,
Am lurking but wanted to say Hi, only discovered this thread last week and OH and i had just completed our first month with a shopping budget - we were spending a small fortune with bits here and there so with me going on Maternity leave and being home to cook we decided our first month would be a guess of £160.
We came £17 under budget and spent £20 on nappies which we had said would remain exclusive from this budget so doing well so far.
I dont think im quite ready to join the challenge, we are still spending some time debating what counts and what doesnt lol, but i will be lurking and saying hi

I had a NSD yesterday.
Went to Mr T this morning and spent £21.33.
They had Frubes on offer buy 1 get 2 free, don't know if anyone is interested as I know some people buy them for packed lunches.
