  • Called in to Mr T's to get the few bits I'd forgotten yesterday :) again got some reduced bits that'll be handy, so spent £13.20.
    Enjoy your Sunday afternoon :)
  • Popped into Mr S with my list of things I needed to bake the items for the charity bake sale at work. Came to £11.11  and then I have to pay extra to eat the stuff on the day. Don't think I'll be baking for it again, it's just costing me too much, and then I'm using things like eggs, flour etc that I already had in, fair enough I'm going to have ingredients left over from the money I spent, but it's ending up costing me a fortune.

So another £11.11 to add on to the budget and I think I'm going to have to go to the fruit and veg shop tomorrow to get some things in for the guinea pigs
Going to get to grips with food shopping again, starting February!

Got married to my lovely hubby on 12/11/2011 :D

    Hello all,

I am officially going to start this one on my next shopping day... I shall budget pro rata for the remainder of the month ;)

It should be a little easier from then anyway, as my children will be back at school all day and I start my new job... I need to be organised :)

Spent £28.09 in Mr T today, only got what I had on my list and included things like cornflour and cocoa for cooking, teabags and the scampi and frubes on the 3 for 1 offer, so quite a few things that I don't buy every week.
I am starting to think that it would be cheaper to buy a cow, our household seems to get through a mountain of milk every week!!
Still sticking to cash only, it is certainly working to discourage things from jumping into my trolley:T
