    I am declaring £414.93/£425 for September :j

Very please with this. I am technically still in September tomorrow but not planning on spending anything so declaring now so there's no temptation!

Off to post on the October thread now to reduce the budget some more.

Got a few bits we needed today and that brings me pretty much a close as I can get without going over budget, shouldn't need anything tomorrow so looks like I have finally done it. Going to stock up on a few items next month so still gonna leave the budget the same but hope to be a bit under as I am changing job in a fortnight and we really need every penny. Hope everyone is happy with what they have managed and i'll see you all in the October forum.

  • The Thrifty Scrumpers delaring at £396.14. Happy with this as I did a stock up which I didn't really need in order to use a till spit. Many thanks to Pink, Rosieben and Helen Jelly for running the thread. All the hard work is appreciated. Xxxx

All spent up until Friday. Is 2 for £6.99 Andre* 9 pack toilet rolls good value, when I normally buy 4 for £1.40 of the really cheap ones?

Yes that is very good and they are worth it! I am pleased with the cheapos I bought in Farmfoods this week too-far better than any of the other budget loo rolls!
Went to Mr T today and decided to use my last £4 voucher on a £40 spend. Got to the till, didnt have my clubcard on me as hubby was in the car with it on my keyring! I didnt give up-I paid then went back to CS and got them to sort it out plus the 100 points I would have missed! I spent about £46 including £10 on cat food which I don't realy need but wanted to make sure I was over the £40 and hadn't added it up. Never mind-it will last me most of October with what Ive got at home. Got loads of veg and the caulis are on offer at 50p each. No cooking tomorrow for me as Im working and its my birthday and it slipped out that DD is baking me a cake. Out for a meal with a friend tomorrow night so I can keep out of the kitchen!
Really pleased with the spends of the last 2 weeks(since Ive returned here)as there seems to be organisation in my life again! Just ordered 20 litres of laundry liquid from ebay so that will arrive next week I guess but Septembers budget and Im only counting food in grocery in future as that is the only area of my spending I feel I can "waste" through lack of organisation. I record all of my spends whatever they are-they are good to look back on if I need to for any other reasons(guarantees for example). guesstimated first 2 weeks of September but recorded the last 2 weeks so back on track in october. I will count september as a full spend. I am going to concentrate on the last quarter of this year as a true reflection of my spending. Hoping October will be low as I am very well stocked up.
Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults

I'm still hanging in until the end of the calendar month too :)

£12.77 of spends added from the last couple of days - bits, bobs, odds, sods, freezer bags and, for reasons that escape me now, yet more pasta to add to the mountain. :o

I'm going to try to end the month on an NSD - famous last words :rotfl:- but I'll be back tomorrow to declare either way.
Haven't done the GC since February, but a glance at the Tower of Receipts tells me I really need to get back into it... and plenty of other Challenges besides. :o

Just gone through my receipts and have spent £6.99 in Mr M's, £4 in £1 shop, £6.31 in L1dl, and £3.60 in Mr S. I've only actually been into shops where I've bought grocery items 9 times in the whole month, so well pleased, but I do also have to add another £9, which I've just realized I didn't add on a previous month's total. This was for 2 packs of 48 sachets of cat food, which had damaged packaging so OH got them for £5 each and got staff discount, we've not had to buy any cat food for over a month so that has helped a lot!

I'm not planning on doing any shopping tomorrow, but just in case OH buys anything I won't declare until tomorrow night.

I had hoped to total my Sept spend today but I had to buy a few things for a guest.
Total spend for today £7.24  just for a few things. I am not going to spend anything today as I am already over budget.

As this has been unstickied, I guess I must be the only one left still on my September budget.
